NY Christian Sports Takes Summer Streets 2026!!!

We'll be resurrecting the running group for one weekend this year! Join us on August 8th as we participate in NYC's annual Summer Streets event! The Dept of Transportation closes Park Avenue, making it open to running, biking, walking, etc! Feel free to bring your own bike, scooter, roller blades, etc. If you plan to rent a Citi bike, we recommend downloading the app in advance and entering the promo code early on Saturday morning! Weekday Portuguese Meetup

Oi! Join us for a fun and interactive Portuguese Happy Hour where language enthusiasts and culture lovers come together to practice their language skills. Whether you are a Portuguese speaker looking to improve your or a culture enthusiast wanting to learn more about the Portuguese speaking world, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We meet 2x a month. One week day in Bushwick and another weekend in several locations ( Crown Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Astoria, Lower Manhattan). At least 1x a month, we typically select a location where drinks/food options are very cheap ($5) so our only ask is that you support the business if you are able to. No presh. 😊 Até logo!

Escape Room Time - North Jersey

It is escape room time. The event comes to you courtesy of our WhatsApp group chat. Join us at 7:30 p.m. on July 31 at Amazing Escape Room, 281 Liberty St. in Bloomfield. This event will require a little planning and coordination. The cost per person will be based on the number of people. A 10% discount is available for groups of 10 or more. Technically, a room can only accommodate up to 10, 11 or 12 people. If there's significant interest, we can talk about getting two rooms. With that in mind, the cost per person will be between $25 and $35. No food or drinks are allowed on site. There is street parking. Once I finalize a list, I'll let everyone know what they owe in advance of July 31.
