On our monthly online meetings, you connect from home (or your favorite spot) and watch the fun, talk to other members or guests, get news updates, see some videos from our database, show some of your own videos and photos (or send me a link to your favorite YouTube video and, 'if appropriate' 😉 I'll show it) and **generally have a great time**..... Minimum of 4 Members (not including the Host) or it will be postponed... I've scheduled this as a two hour event that you can join at any time as long as you have RSVPed to 'Attend' before the event starts (let me know if you're joining us late). We also keep going as long as there are interested active members online, which is often the case... For security\*\*\*\*\* reasons, RSVP to Attend in the usual way and I'll send you full instructions by eMail on how you access from almost anywhere in the world using the app of your choice (see **[http://alturl.com/tfdiz](http://alturl.com/tfdiz)**) that you can download from **[http://Zoom.us](http://Zoom.us)** * if you haven't got the info message by 2 hours before the meeting, do not post a comment here. Send me a direct message or a TEXT and I'll resend it to you. **=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=** Please donate towards the group running costs (fees are over $390\* a year) by sending a donation to **Nick@NjDug.org** on **[https://PayPal.com](https://PayPal.com)**.. We're bringing together practitioners who are **moving beyond individual AI tools** and into autonomous, continuously running systems — whether you're maxing out managed API plans or running open source models on your own hardware. 🚨 **[CLICK HERE](https://partiful.com/e/jkjGahQgmH9PLIxjfTFt)** to RSVP 👈 Join us if you're building toward AI as a scalable workforce: **agent loops that run for hours, parallelized workflows, and the infrastructure decisions** that make or break production systems. Expect to talk about things like: * Scaling agent fleets on managed APIs vs. self-hosted inference * Open source models and where local compute actually makes sense * State persistence, monitoring, and reliability for long-running agents * The real tradeoffs between cost, latency, and control at scale Whether you're orchestrating agents through Claude or running Llama on bare metal, come ready to talk implementation details with people who are building the same way you are. 🚨 **[CLICK HERE](https://partiful.com/e/jkjGahQgmH9PLIxjfTFt)** to RSVP 👈 This event is a part of **#NYTechWeek**—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Urban Athletics: Bike the NYC Bridges by Night

Urban Athletics: Bike the NYC Bridges by Night

Fri, Jun 12, 11:30 PM
From I wanted to do that...Just not alone!!
4.8

The other night I was on my bike riding around town and was struck by how dramatically the vibe of the city changes once the sun sets. People get out on their cycles and enjoy this town during the day but most of us put them away when the evening comes. That's like ordering a slice of pizza, throwing away the cheese and only eating the crust -- you're only getting half of what makes the experience great. **The plan...** We are going to take a nighttime tour of the East River bridges, we'll wheel through three boroughs and cross over five spans -- the Queensboro, Pulaski, Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn bridges. This ride will highlight the stunning vistas only viewable from our water crossings and take in different views of the sparkling nighttime Manhattan skyline. If there was ever a time to go through the hassle of carrying your camera with you, this will be it. **The important stuff...** • This is going to be a casually-paced ride of about 17 miles. Most of the ride will take place in bike lanes but there will be parts with some automobile congestion. You must be comfortable riding in a group and in traffic. Lights and reflectors for your bike are also REQUIRED by law. **Helmets are mandatory otherwise you will not be allowed to ride with the group.** • This is a night ride so dress to be seen by motorists and pedestrians -- bright or reflective clothing is a must. • Make sure your bike is in good working order before the meetup and bring a lock in case we need to leave our cycles. Also bring a patch repair kit, air pump, and spare inner tube. • Rain cancels the meetup. Here is the map of the ride: TO COME

4.9

Agenda Networking & Food 5:30 PM- 6:00 PM Speaker 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM Closing 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM **Speaker** Mohit Sarveiya Deep Dive into Claude Code Ever wondered what happens under the hood when Claude Code runs your next Android task? This talk dives into the internals of Anthropic's AI coding agent — its bootstrap pipeline and agent loop. You'll see how fork agents share prompt-cache prefixes to cut input token costs and how four-layer context compression keeps long conversations from exhausting the window. You'll leave with a mental model of how this production AI agent actually works. Whether you're building custom MCP integrations, orchestrating multi-agent tasks, or just trying to get more from the tool you use every day, you'll have a toolkit of patterns to apply to your own Android workflows.
