**\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*PLEASE NOTE\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*** *** ***\*\* In order to support Cobblestones for letting us use their space, there is a $15 minimum food/drink order per person.\*\**** We're a friendly group of gamers that play everything from Carcassonne & Ticket to Ride to Wingspan & heavier Eurogames! If you don't recognize the games, don't worry, everyone is happy to teach new players the rules. And feel free to bring your own board games if you wish. Between all of us, there's usually a large selection of games to choose from. In order to support our awesome, not-too-loud, well-lit venue, each person must purchase something to eat or a few drinks. ***\*\*\*Again, there is a $15 minimum per person.****\*\*\** *** We always welcome new people & we're all here to have fun, but we do have a few ground rules that we ask everyone to be aware of: * Treat everyone in the group with respect & do not discriminate. Some of us "trash talk" when we play, but it's all in good fun & in the spirit of gaming. * This is a restaurant/bar so accidents are bound to happen. However, if you're responsible for ruining someone else's game by spilling a beverage or food on it, the right thing to do is to offer to purchase a new copy for them. Some of the games we bring are out of print so please treat every board game with respect. * If a game is accidentally ruined by a staff member, everyone at the table should pitch in to buy a new one for the owner. We do also play some lighter party and filler games, but they are not the main focus. Gotham Go Group - Tuesdays at the Hungarian

Every Tuesday evening from 5 - closing. All are welcome, from beginners to pros. We usually have 8-15 players show up. This is a casual coffee house environment so don't expect a Go tournament kind of silence, but rather a din of conversation that is probably the vanguard of intellectual New York. Absolutely free, it costs nothing to play, and there is nothing to join. But PLEASE do get a drink, dessert or both to support the good folks at the Hungarian Pastry Shop who so graciously allow us to use their storied and humble space. We have some boards and stones, but it never hurts to bring your own.

Stiff Competition in person - Sep. 8

An in person meetup at Whole Foods located at 63 Madison Avenue on 28 Street in Manhattan. Look for us on the second floor. Make a purchase downstairs. You can take the stairs or elevator upstairs. A variety of food, they do have salads and pizza. Closest subway stop is 28 Street. The 6 train stops one block east and the R and W are a couple of blocks west. A short walk from either one. If you RSVP and cannot attend, change your RSVP to NO. I will have an assortment of games, mostly of the party, word and trivia variety. I'm limiting the attendance, so the sooner you respond, the better.
