This event will take place on the first floor of an accessible building.** **Learn how to play *Hong Kong*-style mahjong in a non-competitive setting.** This club is open to people wishing to learn how to play mahjong with no prior experience. Some members of this club have attended previous meetings and returned to practice their skills before attempting to play more advanced mahjong events around LA. For beginners or those needing a refresher, an optional introductory mahjong presentation and demonstration will be given at **6:30 PM**. **Most people are able to play (and win!) mahjong on their own after this presentation.** Guided gameplay with other new players is offered after the presentation. Due to the need for 4 people per mahjong table and to avoid people reserving a seat but failing to show up, **we cannot offer refunds. If you plan to attend the class, please be on time as lessons will promptly begin at 6:30 PM.** **Parking**: There is **no parking** offered at our location, so please be prepared to find street parking or use a paid parking lot.
