Funds raised at Tabemasho go to support The Center’s programming throughout the year, including classes, presentations, community programs, and cultural events. Volunteer duties will be assigned as needed, but include helping with prepping and serving food, helping run events during the gala, and picking up and sorting trash and recycling. Nakayoshi volunteers generally get assigned to help with bartending, though may be asked to assist with other tasks as described above.

SF Repair Cafe Volunteering

SF Repair Cafe Volunteering

Sun, Sep 13, 8:00 PM
From Friends of the San Francisco Bay Area Rotary Club
4.8

A San Francisco Repair Café is hosting its first event on Sunday, September 13, where neighbors bring broken or well-loved items to be repaired instead of thrown away. It’s a fun way to reduce waste, share skills, and build community. You don’t have to be a repair expert to volunteer! Any skills are appreciated—sewing, jewelry repair, arts & crafts, electrical, mechanical, baking treats for volunteers and guests, or simply helping with check-in, setup, event support, and teardown. There’s a role for everyone! If you’d be interested in volunteering, please email Anya at anya.prasad@sfbayarearotary.org for the signup link and details.
