From THE SUNRISE CLUB

It's Sunrise Season again :-) Watch the sunrise in the company of other people who are up for tiny adventures. Warm up and carry on conversations in a nearby cafe afterwards. (Conversations fuelled by early morning light and coffee tend to be good ones.) **The plan:** * meet at 7AM at the top of **PRIMROSE HILL** * sunrise is at 7:05AM * take in the view for a little while (depending on how cold it is) * walk to a local café on Regents Park Road * warm up with coffee We meet frequently to create and sustain community. New people and visitors are always welcome :-) We will be easy to find because we will be at the top of the hill looking out for early birds. Relevant links: **[INSTAGRAM](https://www.instagram.com/thesunriseclubetc)** to see some beautiful skies & what these meetups look like **[SUBSTACK](https://experimentsingroupwisdom.substack.com/)** for the newsletter and occasional extras **[WEBSITE](http://www.alltogether.one/)** for all other groups **[WHATSAPP GROUP](https://chat.whatsapp.com/DPkYXvrP6IhFrSRDiQACLC)** for occasional announcements Looking forward to seeing you! English Church Service at Inspire St James, Clerkenwell

English Church Service at Inspire St James, Clerkenwell

Sun, Sep 27, 3:00 PM
From Free English Conversation Class -- Inspire English
4.8

Everyone is very welcome to join us for tea and cake and the church service, which runs every Sunday. Hope you can join us! *PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT the English class.* The English class runs during the term: and classes are posted as separate Meetup events. Please sign up for the classes on the relevant Meetup. The classes run from 2:30 pm - 3:45pm. --- What happens in this event? Come and experience a Traditional English Church Service with Live Music and Singing. Enjoy Tea and coffee after the Church service. You will meet a friendly local community. Make friends from all over the world, people from diverse backgrounds and stages of life. What happens during the church service? You do not need to do anything, apart from sit, listen and observe. It is a great way to improve your listening skills and also to learn about what Christianity says about life and why we think it might be relevant. You will listen to live singing, prayer, a Bible reading, and hear a talk from someone explaining it. You are welcome to join at any time and leave before the service finishes if you do not feel you can stay. You will have time after the service to talk to us either about what you have heard or just anything you'd like to talk about, over a cup of tea or coffee and there is usually also a lot of cakes or snacks! Find out more about Inspire St James Church at: https://inspirelondon.org/ We hope to see you this Sunday!

Balancers Community Volunteering - Clothing Distribution

Balancers Community Volunteering - Clothing Distribution

Thu, Sep 24, 5:00 PM
From Balancers - Expand Your Circle
4.4

Hi Balancers, We believe community is about more than meeting new people. It's also about showing up for those who need support. As part of our ongoing partnership with Refugee Community Kitchen, we're inviting you to join us for a different kind of volunteering session. This time, we’re joining **Refugee Community Kitchen (RCK)** at their Goodge Street service to provide essential clothing to people who need it. 👕 **HOW IT WORKS** We’ll meet at **6:00 PM in front of the Dominion Theatre**. From there, we’ll cross the road to Primark and split into small groups. Each group will be given a few essential clothing items to find and buy. Once we’re done, we’ll walk about **5 minutes to Goodge Street**, join the RCK service and distribute the clothing while their team serves food. ♻️ **HAVE CLOTHES YOU DON’T USE ANYMORE?** You’re also welcome to bring a **small amount of clean, good-condition clothing** that you no longer use and would be happy to donate. Please only bring a few items, as we have **very limited storage space** and may not be able to take large bags of clothes. **🍻 AFTER VOLUNTEERING** For anyone who wants to stick around, we’ll head to a nearby pub for a drink after the session. A chance to relax, chat and get to know each other a little better. 💷 **CHIPPING IN** We’ll collect contributions from the group and use the full amount to buy the clothing that evening. If you can, **bring some cash** — but there’s absolutely no pressure to contribute much. Even **£1 helps**, and you’re just as welcome to volunteer regardless of how much you contribute. 💬 **Join our Volunteer WhatsApp group for updates and coordination:** [https://chat.whatsapp.com/Hzm7P7Tr0QD92MnwmpHTVK?s=cl&p=a&ilr=1](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Hzm7P7Tr0QD92MnwmpHTVK?s=cl&p=a&ilr=1) 🤝 **NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED** We’ll explain everything on the day. Just bring yourself and be ready to help. **Good to know:** 📍 Meet: In front of the Dominion Theatre ⏰ 6:00 PM 👕 Primark is directly across the road 🚶 Goodge Street is around 5 minutes away As always, Respect, Kindness and Authenticity come first. We’re there to support people with dignity and without judgment. Let’s keep showing what our community can do when we act with heart. See you there 💛

London Society FREE WALK - Blackfriars to Battersea Power Station

Wed, Sep 30, 5:30 PM
From London Society of Explorers

Have you ever wanted to be immersed within either the city or nature in the form of a walk and socialise at the same time? If so, this may be the right walk for you. Welcome to another one of the FREE WALK events where you have the opportunity to explore all the scenic routes I’ll execute whether there’s nature within, whether we get immersed within the city and feel great about yourself.

With this particular walk, we will be walking down the river from Blackfriars to Battersea Power station. As we go along the river, we should see remnants of what makes the skyline, Tate modern, The house of Parliament and any other scenic views on the way. A transition from East Central to South West. After this, we may do an aftermath if you wish and let democracy decide. My fellow explorers, if you enjoyed the event, I’m more than happy to accept any donations which of course are optional but will go a long way to help me unlock and deliver even more exciting and engaging events and resources: https://www.paypal.me/calvinjoy

Disclaimers: Please be on your best behaviour and respect one another. This group doesn’t tolerate any misbehaviour and misconduct. Should such a thing take place, you will be removed. If you ask a question that either already has the answer to it or doesn’t relate to the event at all, I won’t respond. Whenever an event takes place, I will cut off contact 20 minutes after the event commences. If you message even 1 minute after the cut off time, I won’t be available as I’m conducting the event. There will be photography and videography by myself so if you are photo conscious and/or do not want to be in the video, do kindly inform me and I’ll try my utmost best to not involve you in the picture.
