A 36-year old character spent half of her life working at convenience store and this is the only place where she feels "normal." **About** **us:** We are a small book club exploring a variety of genres and authors in coffee places across Barcelona. ## Club de lectura Permacomputing — *Mierdificación* Seguimos con el club de lectura de **Permacomputing Barcelona**, un espacio para leer, compartir preguntas y debatir colectivamente sobre nuestra relación con la tecnología. En este tercer encuentro leeremos *Mierdificación: Qué hacer ante la apropiación de Internet por las grandes tecnológicas*, de **Cory Doctorow**, una reflexión crítica sobre cómo las grandes plataformas digitales degradan progresivamente los servicios que utilizamos y concentran cada vez más poder sobre internet. Coffee Connections

A casual (but coordinated) coffee break to meet new friends, take a Zoom break, and get your AM caffeine fix. Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time. Bring a friend or wander in solo. Come for the coffee and company, or just bring a book to read while surrounded by other in-real-life, community-seeking humans. Come by every Friday, or just when you happen to be in town. Make it whatever you need it to be that week. It's not an \*event\* per se, but we hope these Friday meet-ups can become a fixture of the bookshop!
