We’ll start at the Teltow Canal and follow the former border strip to the Britzer Connecting Canal, where a memorial stone commemorates one of the last victims of an escape attempt. After crossing the Britzer Zweigkanal, we reach the former Sonnenallee border crossing. The trail continues through the green corridor along the Heidekampgraben toward Treptow-Kiefholzstraße. The former border, now marked by a double row of cobblestones, runs through a densel built-up residential area to the former watchtower at Schlesischer Busch in Kreuzberg, where the hike ends. Since there’s no guarantee that there will be places to stop for refreshments along the way, please bring enough food for a picnic. **What’s Village Outdoor?** Village outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin. Activities include forest hikes, bike tours, swimming in lakes, sightseeing, and kayaking. Wir starten am Teltowkanal und folgen dem ehemaligen Grenzstreifen bis zum Britzer Verbindungskanal, wo eine Stele an eines der letzten Fluchtopfer erinnert. Nach der Überquerung des Britzer Zweigkanals erreichen wir den ehemaligen Grenzübergang Sonnenallee. Weiter führt der Weg durch den Grünzug am Heidekampgraben in Richtung Treptow-Kiefholzstraße. Die ehemalige Grenze, heute durch eine doppelte Pflastersteinreihe markiert, verläuft durch ein dicht bebautes Wohngebiet bis zum ehemaligen Wachturm am Schlesischen Busch in Kreuzberg, wo die Wanderung endet. Da es nicht garantiert ist, ob es unterwegs Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt, bringt euch bitte ausreichend Proviant für ein Picknick mit. **Was ist Village Outdoor?** Village Outdoor Events sind monatliche Treffen der we are village-Community und ihrer Freunde, um Outdoor-Aktivitäten in und um Berlin zu genießen. **Deutsch** Willkommen beim \*Lunes de Charla\*! Wir lernen Spanisch, wir lernen Deutsch. Jeden Montag ab 18 Uhr treffen wir uns im Pig in Paradise, um genau das zu tun, wofür im Sprachkurs nie Zeit ist: einfach quatschen. Auf Deutsch, auf Spanisch, oft mitten im Satz wechselnd – über alltägliche Erfahrungen, das Leben in Berlin oder die Reise auf die iberische Halbinsel oder über den großen Teich. Alle Niveaus sind willkommen. Wer noch wenig sagen kann, hört erst mal zu – das ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir unterhalten uns einfach und verbringen einen entspannten Abend in gemütlicher Runde. Bei Meetup meldet sich nur ein Teil der Leute an, wir organisieren uns auch über andere Kanäle. Die Runde ist also größer, als es hier aussieht. Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - late summer edition

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. Bouldering Session

Have you always wanted to learn bouldering but never had the right company? Or are you an experienced boulderer who just wants to find boulder-buddies? If yes, this is the right event for you. We are going to meet inside "urban apes Basement Boulderstudio", close to S Anhalter Bahnhof, also not far from Potsdamer Platz. If you have never been there, you will need to sign up with them, which will take a bit of time. After that, **you can find us on the couches near the lockers (not in front of the reception), next to a red smiley**. When you enter the actual gym, enter the hall by turning left immediately - you are walking towards them. We will start warming up around 11:10, so everyone has enough time to arrive and get changed before that. ***\*\*\**** *Spots are limited, so please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you won't be joining. **NO-SHOWs ARE NOT COOL \*\*\**** We enter the gym at 11:00, if you are late, you will need to look for us inside. IMPORTANT: they only accept cards as a payment method. No cash. One day ticket will cost you 13,90 EUR (10,90 EUR if you are a student, free if Urban Sports Club). **What to bring: well, first of all, a good mood.** But you could also bring * climbing shoes if you have any. If all stay in sharing dorms in these huts, if you want individual room, please let us know before.
