On this varied circular hike, we’ll explore a chain of elongated lakes in the Behrensdorfer Heide. The quiet and, at times, very secluded trail follows the wooded shores of Lake Springsee and Lake Großer Glubigsee, for much of the route, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Along the way, we’ll also pass through an interesting wet woodland area, a valuable ecosystem that plays an important role in climate protection and nature conservation. And if the weather is on our side, the many lakeside bathing spots invite us to enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax by the water. As there are no guaranteed places to stop for food or drinks along the route, please bring enough food and water for the day. Since we’ll be walking through woodland and wetland areas, it’s also a good idea to bring an effective insect repellent. **What’s Village Outdoor?** Village outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin. Der stille und teilweise sehr abgelegene Wanderweg führt größtenteils entlang der bewaldeten Ufer des Springsees und des Großen Glubigsees und eröffnet immer wieder schöne Blicke auf die Natur. Unterwegs passieren wir außerdem ein interessantes Bruchwaldgebiet, das als wertvolles Ökosystem eine wichtige Rolle für den Klima- und Naturschutz spielt. Und wenn das Wetter mitspielt, laden die zahlreichen Badestellen unterwegs zu einer erfrischenden Abkühlung oder einer entspannten Pause ein. Da unterwegs keine Einkehrmöglichkeiten garantiert sind, denkt bitte an ausreichend Proviant und Getränke. Vom (derzeit geschlossenen) U-Bahnhof Alt Tegel geht es über die Humboldt Bibliothek in den Barnimer Dörferweg. Dabei folgen wir dem Tegeler Fließ. Um die Landschaft und die Bewegung besser wahr nehmen zu können, laufen wir einige Etappen in Stille. Unser Lauftempo ist zügig und liegt zwischen 3,5 und 4,5 kmh. Bei allen TeilnehmeInnen steht "unbezahlt". Auch bei mir. Ich sammle den Orga Euro am Anfang der Wanderung ein. In Alt Lübars fährt der Bus 222 zurück nach Alt Tegel. **Wasserturm and Pumpstation Tour – Cycling Tour to Grunewald and Spandau** **Time:** 15:00 **Theme:** Cycle Tour + Water Infrastructure + Industrial Heritage + Nature **Start:** Water Tower Prenzlauer Berg (just opposite side of street from Umani restaurant) **Distance:** 25–30 km **Suggested contribution:** €5 Join me for a cycling journey from the centre of Berlin through **Charlottenburg, the Grunewald and along the Havel**, exploring the water infrastructure of Berlin. This is a tour about **water**: where Berlin got it, how it was pumped, stored and cleaned, and how the infrastructure built to supply a rapidly growing city is still visible today. We'll start at the best known Wasserturm in PBerg then tour past several others on our way to the the olderest surviving pumpstation in the city: the historic **Wasserwerk Teufelssee**, now home to the Ökowerk Nature Conservation Centre. We'll explore the remarkable surviving machinery and buildings of Berlin's oldest complete surviving waterworks, before taking a break at the nearby beer garden. From there we'll continue north through the Grunewald, taking in the Grunewald turm and then along the Havel, eventually reaching Wansee. **The Tour** Berlin's growth in the nineteenth century created a huge problem: **how do you supply a rapidly expanding city with clean water?** Our route follows the answer. Starting in central Berlin, we'll cycle west towards Charlottenburg, where the development of wealthy new neighbourhoods created an urgent demand for a reliable water supply. Along the way we'll see the **Wasserturm Berlin** and make our way towards Grunewald and the historic **Wasserwerk Teufelssee**. Built between 1871 and 1873, the waterworks originally supplied the new villa district of Westend. It was later expanded and became part of the municipal water system, eventually supplying large parts of southern Berlin. The machinery, filter halls, water tanks and other elements of the original complex have survived remarkably well. Today the site is the **Ökowerk Nature Conservation Centre**, creating a fascinating meeting point between industrial heritage and nature. We'll take some time here to explore the site and have a drink at the nearby beer garden before continuing our ride. From the Grunewald we'll head towards the Havel, following the landscape north towards Wansee. Along the way we'll see how Berlin's natural landscape has been shaped by infrastructure—waterworks, reservoirs, canals, roads and energy systems—while still remaining one of the city's great recreational spaces. We'll finish in **Wansee**, where you can either take the train home or, if you're feeling energetic, continue cycling back into central Berlin. I am an accredited tour guide in Berlin, specialising in telling stories about the city's industrial heritage. Remote Viewing 🔮 A Shamanic Exploration

**Can you travel to a place without physically going there?** Remote Viewing is a practice of perceiving and exploring a **real, physically existing place from a distance** – without travelling there with the physical body. In this shamanic exploration, we use the rhythm of the **shamanic drum to induce a shamanic state of consciousness**, allowing us to enter a trance journey and experience a distant location from within this altered state. 🥁 **The journey** The rhythmic beat of the shamanic drum serves as the gateway into the journey. Once you have entered the shamanic state of consciousness, you will be guided to connect with a specific place that you cannot physically see or access at that moment. You may perceive landscapes, structures, sounds, sensations, movements or other impressions connected to the place. The experience is about **direct exploration and perception**, rather than consciously imagining or creating a scene. At the same time, you can **communicate with entities from the spirit world** and ask them to give you clues about the place. 🌿 **What is Remote Viewing used for?** Remote Viewing has been used as a technique for exploring information about people, spirits, energies, places, objects and situations that are physically distant or otherwise inaccessible. ✨ **My personal experience** I have been working with shamanic practices for more than **20 years**, and Remote Viewing is also part of my own practice. When I receive an assignment for an **energetic space cleansing**, I explore the location beforehand through a trance journey – without having physically been there. I haven’t seen any photos of the place yet, and the people who live there aren’t giving me any further details – just an invitation to come and work with the place, as there are phenomena there that cannot be explained by the laws of physics. During the trance journey, I travel there in the shamanic state of consciousness, look around and note the details I perceive. When I later visit the place physically, I compare these impressions with what I actually find there. **Time and again, I have found remarkable correspondences between what I perceived during the journey and the actual location.** 🌙 **An exploration, not a performance** You don't need to have any special abilities or previous experience with Remote Viewing. There is no pressure to “get it right”. The purpose is to explore the experience itself and discover what becomes accessible when ordinary perception and physical distance no longer define the boundaries of the journey. **No substances are used.** The shamanic state of consciousness is induced solely through the rhythmic beat of the shamanic drum and guided shamanic journeying. After the journey, we return to ordinary awareness, reveal the location or object and compare our experiences with the actual place or thing. Climate Within is coming to the vibrant Rooftop Flohmarkt with a 3 days Book Reading Zone. Come and join us to take a refreshing pause for the mind over the weekend. Amidst great food, music, and energy, we’re creating a Free Book Reading Zone—a calm and inviting space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Hosted by the Climate Within group, this space is for anyone who feels that nourishment is not just about the body, but also about the mind and inner clarity. 📚 What to expect: •⁠ ⁠A curated selection of books across different themes available with a small amount of donation (to sustain our work ❤️) •⁠ ⁠A common thread: self-reflection and deeper understanding •⁠ ⁠Small, engaging activities to spark thought and conversation •⁠ ⁠A relaxed atmosphere with music and open exchange ✨ If you’re looking for food for thought, not just food for the body, this space is for you. Walk around the Tegeler See/Forst

As the next event in our hiking series, we will walk in the vicinity of the Tegeler See and Tegeler Forst. We will meet just outside U-Alt-Tegel station at 11:00. Please don't be late! You should expect to be back at U-Alt-Tegel earliest at 16:30. Note that U-Alt-Tegel is still closed, so if you take the U6, you'll have to switch to a bus at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Alternatively take the S-Bahn to S-Tegel. This will be a fairly lengthy hike - approximately 17 km in total, although it is on almost completely flat ground. At about 8 km we will reach an area with a few cafes, so we might be able to stop for some food or a drink, if there's space. But I'd suggest bringing a sandwich. Definitely bring water. Please bring water, sun-screen and appropriate clothing/shoes. You will also need a BVG ticket (covering zone B). Well behaved animals are of course welcome!
