Leadership Circle: Klar kommunizieren, wenn es unangenehm wird
Tue, Jul 28, 4:30 PM**Kritisches Feedback geben. Grenzen setzen. Konflikte ansprechen.** Die wenigsten Führungskräfte freuen sich auf solche Gespräche. Stattdessen schieben wir sie vor uns her, formulieren zu vorsichtig oder hoffen, dass sich das Problem von selbst löst. Die Folge? Missverständnisse, Frust und unnötige Konflikte – für beide Seiten. Dabei sind genau diese Gespräche entscheidend für gute Führung. Beim ersten **Leadership Circle Berlin** schauen wir gemeinsam darauf, wie schwierige Gespräche gelingen können – klar, wertschätzend und ohne sich zu verbiegen. ### **Das erwartet dich** In einem interaktiven Impuls erfährst du, * warum schwierige Gespräche oft schwerer wirken, als sie tatsächlich sind, * welche Fehler viele Führungskräfte unbewusst machen, * wie du Kritik so ansprichst, dass sie angenommen werden kann, * und wie du auch in herausfordernden Situationen ruhig und klar bleibst. Anschließend hast du die Möglichkeit, dich mit anderen Führungskräften auszutauschen, Fragen zu stellen und von den Erfahrungen der Gruppe zu profitieren. Denn viele Herausforderungen fühlen sich zwar persönlich an – tatsächlich teilen sie fast alle Führungskräfte. ### **Für wen?** Der Leadership Circle richtet sich an Führungskräfte, Team Leads und Menschen mit Führungsverantwortung, die ihre Kommunikationskompetenz stärken und sich mit anderen Führungskräften in Berlin vernetzen möchten. Please note that it’s at Choriner Str. 12, 10119 Berlin. Do note the street and house number to reach ☑️ the bar next to it is always closed so please don’t get confused by it. What to expect in the circle: \- The first 45 minutes we can spend to get coffee and settle down \- On a volunteer basis\, each of the attendee will then get some time to share things that they are dealing with\, perhaps for 2\-5 minutes \- You can skip sharing even if you are in a circle\, there's no force \(and there will never be\) on you to share\, staying silent and listening is completely ok \- Attendees can recommend books or reading material if they like ///// ….. /////// Code of conduct: 📓 Please arrive on time. There are no requirements or expectations of any kind. Speaking is encouraged but not compulsory. All issues are legitimate and deserve attention. Everyone is entitled to share their experience, including yourself. Speak honestly and respectfully. Try not to downplay or invalid other people's feelings, or your own. Pay attention to physical and emotional boundaries. Avoid raising your voice, interrupting or talking over anyone else. Be aware of how much you’re participating so everyone gets a chance to speak. Refrain from giving unsolicited advice; what works for you may not for others. Respect privacy during this dialogue and beyond. What is said during the Meetup is not meant to be repeated outside. Notify the facilitator if you feel distressed or upset, or if you find someone's behavior inappropriate. Feel free to step out if you need to. Neurodivergent Creative Sharing Circle (Arts & Craft Meetup)

This meetup is a chance to make friends, chat, and enjoy arts and crafts with other neurodivergent individuals. **Activities include:** * Clay work * Abstract painting * Finger painting * Creative journaling * Doodling and more Each session offers different activities, with some focused on one project and others on exploring multiple creative outlets. Are you frustrated or angry? Working in tech can be quite frustrating, especially for the FLINTA\ *community. That is why we are bringing you the* Transform Your Anger \*workshop in the form of a relaxed picnic. **About** This workshop aims to transform your anger into something productive and help you let go of it in a group of like-minded people who also experience the challenges of working in tech. If you need a little support, a community of people who understand you, or are simply looking for a relaxed hangout with like-minded people - come by! ⚠️ In case of really bad weather, we might cancel the event. Members working through various projects in the Toastmasters education program deliver speeches based on their chosen projects. The Table Topics Master presents a series of short, unprepared speaking challenges or questions, and members or guests are invited to come to the podium and give a brief, improvised response. **Evaluations:** Following the prepared speeches and Table Topics segment, evaluators provide constructive feedback to speakers. These evaluations focus on content, delivery, body language, and time management. The goal is to help speakers improve their speaking skills. **Reports and Functionary Roles:** The meeting may include various functionary roles, such as the Timer, Grammarian, Ah-Counter, and others, who report on their observations and contributions to the session. These roles help members improve their language and time management skills. **General Evaluator:** The General Evaluator provides an overall assessment of the meeting, highlighting what went well and offering suggestions for improvement. They may also evaluate the evaluators' performance. **Awards and Recognitions:** Toastmasters sessions often conclude with awards and recognitions, including the Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Table Topics Speaker. These awards encourage members to strive for excellence in their speaking and leadership abilities. **Closing:** The meeting concludes with closing remarks from the Toastmaster of the Day, who may express gratitude to participants and encourage them to continue their Toastmasters journey. **Networking and Socialising:** After the formal meeting, members and guests often have the opportunity to network, socialise, and discuss their experiences in a more relaxed setting.
