Whether you're a beginner or fluent, this is the perfect opportunity to practice your language skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Mission as you meet fellow language enthusiasts and native speakers. Engage in conversations, exchange cultural insights, and enhance your language fluency through real-life interactions. it's **not** necessary to practice both Spanish and French, we always have speakers of either language ready to converse. Muddy Waters offers wine, beer, food, and nonalcoholic drinks to keep you energized throughout the event. So grab your friends or come solo, and let's have a fantastic time discovering new languages and making lasting connections! \*The event is free. Please support our local bars by purchasing at least one item as they let us use the space for free. We accept tips to cover a few hundred dollars in annual expenses that the group incurs. Tipping the group is not required.

During the Shelter in Place, we will be celebrating meetings through Zoom. You can submit your request to attend here or on our website. Join us every Thursday for this unique Toastmasters meeting in two languages! Every meeting is two meetings in one: an English segment, followed by a Spanish segment. Each segment is approximately 30-45 minutes, or 90 minutes total, adjourning promptly at 8:00pm. Each segment includes: * 1-2 prepared speeches (5-7 minutes) * Formal speech evaluations (2-3 minutes) * Impromptu speaking opportunities (Table Topics, 2-3 minutes) * Reports: Grammarian, Ah Counter, Timer (1-3 minutes) * After meetings, many of us go to a nearby restaurant for food and drinks.
