Wednesday Evening Atelier: Life Drawing & Painting in Berlin
Wed, Sep 23, 4:00 PMJoin us for a three-hour evening of drawing or painting from a live nude model in the Burnt Sienna studio. The model is carefully posed under focused studio lighting, giving you time to develop a sustained observational drawing or painting rather than a series of quick sketches. The session is suitable for beginners, practising artists and painters who want to strengthen their ability to work directly from life. Bring your own drawing or painting materials. Easels, drawing boards and studio furniture are provided. Recommended kit Oil colours Brushes small tin with lid - solvent ( we recommend Miracle medium by Micheal harding or shelsol T from Kremer) Kitchen roll or rags panels, papers or canvas For drawing Dry pastels , chalks, pencils, putty rubber, charcoal, graphite. RPG Event at Motel One Alexanderplatz
Wed, Sep 23, 4:00 PMTo test the waters, and since I need some practice GM-ing some roleplaying games (Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Chtulu, Daggerheart, Wrath and Glory etc.), I'll be hosting a relaxed little DND-like oneshot game at the hotel lobby of Motel One Alexanderplatz. Prerequisites for the game: -An active imagination -A touch of patience -Some time for the event Dice are optional and no experience is needed. The timing can of course vary, since no 2 tables are alike and being a new gm, I'll probably be taking my time with some of the descriptions needed. Consider it a little break from all the serious reading we've been doing as this is not a reading event (not in the traditional sense anyway). Also, to show a touch of gratitude to the venue for allowing us to host the event there, please consider buying a drink or something from the hotel bar. Also also, I'll probably make this a semi-recurring thing if we're full up on members joining. Don't worry if you can't make it the first time.

Wed, Sep 23, 5:00 PM**Hello every boardgame enjoyer!** We'll continue our weekly boardgame evenings every Wednesday in Drehmoment (Glasgower Str. 29, 13349 Berlin) from 19:00. You are all invited to join us! You can expect a lot of fun light games suitable for the location. We have a small library of games that are free to use and you are also encouraged to bring your own, it's alway fun to try something new. The games are fast so feel free to join any time! Gamers of all experience levels are welcome. Drehmoment is a classic Berlin bar, they offer varius drinks and have the best cocktails in Wedding. We have a big room in the back just for us. We are allowed to bring your own food and they have snacks for sale. A couple of ground rules that we take seriously: 1. We are guests at Drehmoment, please treat their staff with respect. 2. There is no entry fee but please support the bar by buying drinks or snacks while you are playing. 3. Be efficient in your seating and kind to other patrons. See you on Wednesday

Groups often form organically and evolve and move throughout the evening consisting of members learning Chinese/German, members who are fluent/native, and the rest who are here to socialize in whatever language they're comfortable with and jumping into whichever conversation they find themselves in.
