Join our in-person meetup to hear talks from experts on cutting-edge topics across AI, ML, and computer vision. **Date, Time and Location** Sep 25, 2026 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM CEST w3.hub, Möckernstraße 120, 10963 Berlin, Germany **One Pipeline, Any Device: Swap the Reader, Not the Pipeline** Every new robot, camera, or sensor vendor in physical AI usually means rebuilding the data pipeline from scratch, even though the features you actually need, a calibrated frame, a fused object distance, stay the same. This talk demos mloda, an open-source Python framework where a feature pipeline is written once, and only the reader plugin, the small piece that knows how to read one specific device's raw format, ever changes. Live, using two small synthetic datasets shaped like two different devices' raw output (no hardware involved), I run the same pipeline against both, swapping only the reader plugin, and show the calibration, fusion, and feature extraction steps running unmodified on either. I also show OpenTelemetry lineage tracing, so when a feature looks wrong, you can trace it straight back to the raw reading that produced it, regardless of which device it came from. AI has changed both sides of the security equation at once. Attackers are automating reconnaissance, phishing, and exploit development at a scale that didn't exist two years ago. Defenders are shipping agents that triage alerts, patch code, and hunt threats faster than any SOC team could. And an entirely new attack surface — the models themselves — is being built into products before anyone has agreed on how to secure it. Berlin has quietly become one of Europe's densest clusters of people working on exactly this problem: security founders, ML engineers, red teamers, CISOs, researchers, and the investors funding them. Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. But as the team adapted to Zendesk’s scale, reliability expectations changed. To meet Zendesk’s SLA commitments, teams needed to identify the root cause in two minutes on average, and the existing observability posture was not built for that level of operational rigor. In this session, Tiago Araújo, Engineering Manager, will share how Zendesk brought the AI Agents team back in line with its reliability goals without compromising engineering velocity. They’ll explain what changed when the team adopted Zendesk’s engineering best practices, how stronger observability helped engineers move faster and more safely, and why reliability became a key part of scaling the team after the acquisition.
