AD&D 2nd Edition One-Shot

AD&D 2nd Edition One-Shot

Wed, Jun 10, 5:00 PM
From Pen and Paper Berlin
4.8

Join me for a night of old-school adventuring with AD&D 2nd Edition! Let us explore the Kingdom of Karameikos (world of Mystara), a heavily forested, largely unexplored border realm full of intrigue in towns and monsters in the wilderness. **Play style:** Short independent adventures set in a persistent world, with pre-made 1st-level characters. Combat runs fast, visualized in our imagination, with only a rough sketch if needed. Player creativity and problem-solving can matter more than character abilities. **Where & When:** Tales Untold (**6€ per person table fee**), about once a month. **Content note:** Aiming for a classic AD&D 2e feel, with lethal combat, violence, cults, traps, undead horrors, slavery, corruption, deadly magic, and the full range of creatures appropriate to the setting. **About me:** I started DM’ing in the mid-late 90s, when I fell in love with AD&D 2e. English isn’t my native language, so feel free to correct me or ask me to repeat anything :) **Player experience:** I’ll be handling system mechanics, so if you’ve played any tabletop RPG, or understand how these games work at the table, you’ll do fine. **A kind request:** Please only RSVP if you think you can make it. Last-day dropouts usually end up as empty seats.

Pirate Borg: Trapped in the Tropics

Pirate Borg: Trapped in the Tropics

Thu, Jun 4, 4:30 PM
From Pen and Paper Berlin
4.8

You were hired by Spaniard Captain de Ordaz (who's accompanied by the somewhat creepy Mother Iris) to learn about the fate of a previous expedition and recover its treasures. After getting stranded on a British controlled island, you acquired a sloop and now you're setting sail for St Martin's—with perhaps a teensy bit of piracy on the way, should the opportunity arise. This is an ongoing campaign but we have space for 1 or 2 folks to drop in either just for this session or perhaps for more. Diverse group, laughs over maths, beginner friendly. Check [our Discord](https://discord.gg/pH4E3RWR) for questions.
