Thursday Cluedo Night

We'll be playing a few games of Cluedo, plus another game of people's choice if more than 6 people join. Drinks and food are available from the cafe, and everyone joining should pay their fee of £7 to the cafe for their seat. This should serve as a great introductory session to get to know people and discuss other games people may be interested in playing going forward.

Mafia Games (and Picnic) in the Park - Beginner Friendly

**Welcome to Mafia Games (and Picnic) in the Park!** With summer having arrived, we thought we’d have a few games of Mafia in an outdoor space. The plan is to meet around Regents Park near **[Broad Walk Cafe](https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/regents-park-primrose-hill/broad-walk-cafe-0)**, Inner Circle, The Broad Walk, London NW1 4NP We will be playing a few games of Mafia, if you are new you are very welcome to come - the game is easy to learn (but difficult to master!) We will have a couple of picnic blankets but please feel free to bring your own blankets/folding chairs if you’d like. **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** This is a casual **beginner-friendly** event in the park, and most of you will be playing with us for the first time. You will get to play many games. Most importantly, this is a social activity, so feel free to talk to anyone between the games and have fun! **What is Mafia?** Have you seen 'The Traitors'? Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a **beginner-friendly** event, we also host tournaments and online events with more experienced players from around the world. Monthly Board Game Night at Perkyns N15

Come hang out with us at Perkyns N15 for our Monthly Board Game Night - it's all about fun, games, and good vibes! Welcome to **Monthly Board Game Night at Perkyns N15**! Join us at **Perkyn's** for a fun-filled evening of board games with friends and fellow enthusiasts. **Perkyn's** is a neighbourhood Cafe and late night Bar, offering Craft Beer, Natural Wines and Hot Drinks! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the world of board games, this event is perfect for everyone. Every month there will be classic games such as Dominoes, Chess, Blackgammon, Cribbage, UNO, plus modern classics like Catan, Ticket To Ride, Terraforming Mars, Wingspan, Azul, Codenames and more! Everyone is welcome, and you can also bring your favourite game from home. Tickets are free, but donation tickets are available, which will go towards costs and new games for future events.

We are excited to welcome you to our Social Tabletop and Party games. 👾 You can also find us on Meetups. On this occasion we hope to bring you a thrilling deduction game of Blood On The Clocktower. Blood on the Clocktower is a 5–20 player Hidden identity game (similar to Traitors, Mafia or Werewolf) where a good team tries to identify a the evil team before they eliminate the whole village. High player interaction, with unique character roles, and a Storyteller to guide the game. Our regulars always bring a wide selection, also *you are welcome to bring your own games*. We have a beautiful location in the garden of The Old Bell. We will be in the back. I'll make sure not to miss you. If you fancy playing games, cooling off,🧉 good conversation 🍷and new friends to🍵 share plenty of laughs, we'd be thrilled to have you along!

Wednesday Night Gaming!

Come and play board games! We play all types of games on a Wednesday night, ranging from social deduction and lighter games to heavy euros and complex strategy titles. Beginners are very welcome, we'd love to see you! We'll always welcome you on the night and make sure we get you into a game, and we have plenty of players on hand happy to teach the rules to different games - so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the Ludoquist's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). We start arriving from 6.30pm if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat - please do try to arrive by 6.50pm, so we have time to discuss who'd like to play what, in time for the main games to start at 7pm. We admired Tomo's amazing collection of hand made doubling cubes for sale (we purchase a few £25 od these unique cubes) along with his handcrafted leather board. Gest is located next to one of Euston Square's tube exits - ensure you choose the Gest has become a favourite spot for our lively backgammon group - offering warmth, bright space with a relaxed and friendly vibe - helped by friendly staff. Social Backgammon Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new, everyone’s welcome. Our Sunday afternoon meetups offer a mix of friendly competition, laughter and the occasional lucky double six. Add alongside this, the food, drinks and easy conversation, and you’ve got the makings of a wonderful Sunday afternoon. 20% off food and drink In order for us to attend Gest, we must each order at least one drink, possibly two, and hopefully one of their meals - I can highly recommend their chicken burger! This will help us to maintain such a generous deal in an accommodating setting. For this we will receive 20pc off all food and drinks! About Our Backgammon Group Our group started in June 2015 and has now run nearly 500 official meetups plus over 250 spin-off informal gatherings. With nearly 2,500 members, we’re the largest backgammon group in the UK, and we're known for our warmth, humour and friendliness. We mostly and typically meet fortnightly on Sundays, with around twenty or so regulars along with new players joining our gatherings each time. Everyone is welcome, whatever your level. Dinner, drinks and playing time We usually sit down for a relaxed group meal around 6pm, but you’re free to order whenever it suits you. Many people arrive early, stay late, and dip in and out of games between food, drinks, conversation and laughter.
