Open Board Gaming !

We play and teach games every Thursday [at](https://www.itsyourmoveoakland.com/)[ Its Your Move Games](https://www.itsyourmoveoakland.com/clubs) until 11pm. The cost is $5. Drop in any time from 7:00pm to 10:30pm or so and you're sure to find something to play! Bring your games from home or use any of the games from our extensive used game library. We often have many tables going on at once for lots of variety. The earlier part of the evening is ideal for families with kids. We play all sorts of board games and card games on Thursday nights, but also: We are at[ 7th West](https://www.7thwest.com/) Every Wednesday night with a nice sized board game library. There is no cover charge there and they have Pin Ball machines a great menu and a large patio for smoking. Got a favorite game you'd like to find others to play? Bring it along! The SF Go Club is the best place to play Go in the SF Bay Area and the oldest Go club in North America. Started in the 1880s by Japanese sailors looking to play Go, it established itself as an official club in 1935 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1984. The club has a rich community of members and a wonderful club-room filled with equipment, both for playing and teaching. Oktoberfest Gaming Potluck

Apologies for going all summer without hosting any events! But the wait is over, because we are celebrating Oktoberfest the right way - food, drink, and Euro Gaming! \` Bring your favorite fall dish or snack for our dinner potluck, as well as your favorite games. I will be providing beverages (yes, including beer), and my own collection of board games (including my new favorite - Rolling in Wonderland). Go Club at the Grand Avenue Library

Play the game of Go (Baduk in Korean, WeiChi in Chinese) at the Grand Avenue Library on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. All levels of players and all ages are welcome! If you are new to the game, you will have the chance to learn how to play with experienced teachers. If you are already a Go player, join in on games and take a moment to teach new players. We will also have other board games available, including co-op and multiplayer games. This event is free of charge and sponsored by the Friends of the South San Francisco Library. Please note that this is in the Grand Avenue Branch in downtown South San Francisco with easy access to Caltrain and the free SSF shuttle.
