Originally used by the Ohlone People, El Polín Spring is a beautiful nature spot with many trails leading to the waters. Plenty of benches, a picnic area, restrooms and parking area at the end of MacArthur Avenue. A 15 minute walk from the Presidio Transit Center via 43 Masonic bus or 1 California at Spruce. Additional parking by the Soccer Field at the end of Portola St. We'll meet up afterward at 2pm to share each other's work. SFWA is a designated SF Legacy Business in recognition of serving the community as a valued cultural asset of the city for over 100 years. Started in the late 1800s as the Sketch Club, it is one of California's oldest arts organizations.

The art teacher will guide you through the 2.5-hour art class step by step. All art supplies will be provided. You can be a newbie who has always wanted to give oil painting a try, or be an artist who simply wants to enjoy the experience. All are welcomed. Everyone will paint the same artwork at each event, while every event is a different artwork. If you have a background in oil painting, you have the option of working on something of personal interest with less step by step guidance. The fee is $90/person for each 2.5 hour event. Please pay/sign up on our website https://www.sweetartssanfrancisco.com/art-for-adults for each event by FRIDAY. If you only RSVP here on Meetup, you are not signed up for the class.
