Free Craft Night in Alameda!

Join me for a craft night at Alameda Brewing! We’ll be making fruity keychains and it’s going to be so fun! We’ll be crafting in the warehouse and the taproom! 💫🌟 My craft nights are free to join and I bring all of the supplies! All you have to do is show up :) I’ll be in the front of the warehouse at the welcome table when you arrive! Donations towards supplies are welcome but it isn’t required. Sunday Coffee & Crafting

**Bring your own seat or picnic blanket as cafe seating is very limited!** Come join us for our bi-weekly Sunday Coffee & Crafting for some cafe fare and crafting social time! As always, all fiber artists are welcome. *** **About the location:** The Hidden Cafe is a cozy cafe located in the Strawberry Creek Park in Berkeley. On weekends they also host pop-up food options. **How to Get There:** BART: 10 minute walk from North Berkeley station Bus: 51B, 800 Car: Parking for Strawberry Creek Park is available, along with on-street parking nearby. Bike: For those north (in Albany or El Cerrito) you can also take the bike path directly to the park!

Postcard Party! Drink & Draw 21+In San Francisco Every 3rd Thursday FREE to join

We’re drawing our own postcards tonight and into our summer camp vibes so grab your art supplies and come join us for a community Drink & Draw at 540 Bar in San Francisco to join.21+ FREE TO JOIN (but please 2 drink boozy/not min to support our local only small businesses) I have everything you need (markers, postcards, even stamps) All levels of skills are welcome! Every 3rd Thursdays 6-8pm 21+ RSVP to let me know you’re coming! These activities are free because we pay for them, please support by: Grabbing a beverage or few (boozy or not) to support the bar, who lets us use the space on the monthly! They’re a small business owned by a trio of Richmond neighbors 💕 This is a labor of love by me (Risa) Supplies and cost of running this event are out of pocket. We meet at Royal Bee Yarn in Pacifica, surrounded by cozy vibes and beautiful yarn. No formal instruction - just a casual, come-as-you-are gathering to unwind, work on your projects, and share ideas. **What to bring:** Your project, tools, and yarn (or pick up something new at the shop!). **What to expect:** Warm conversation, plenty of creative energy, and a chance to spend time with fellow makers. If the weather is nice, the group will sit outside in the backyard. There's a cozy indoor fireplace spot as well.

Trinket Making Decompression

**Junk Journal and Trinket Making** ✨ Saturday June 13, 3:30–5:00 pm at Temescal Library. We’ll have sharing materials for junk journaling whether you’ve journaled before or want to try. We’ll also have items for trinket making: key chains, beads, charms, ribbons and other bits to play with. Bring your journal supplies or we’ll have a share pile: stickers, notebooks and paper scraps. We’ll also have a trinket making share pile: magnets, hair clips, key chains, broken jewelry, single earrings, weird tiny objects, all the little monsters hiding in your drawers. These crafts are a way for us to recharge and share space with kind people who care. You’re welcome to bring any art or craft project you’ve been wanting to make!

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, or any project you are working on. 
If you are an absolute beginner and would like to get started, I suggest picking up a kit to get you started on a project.

Cricut Crafternoon: Citrus Felt & Cork Coasters

Join us at this month’s Cricut Crafternoon to make bright, citrus-themed felt-and-cork coasters using the Cricut Explore Air 2—perfect for adding a fresh pop of color and summer vibes to your table.

Upcycle Social Sew/ Art/Fix it/ Finish it! (In person)

Come over and get crafty with us. Camaraderie and clever upcycling ideas circulate at our sessions! What do you want to repair, reuse, or reinvent today? Choose your adventure... Option 1: Social sew! BYO sewing machine, use a loaner, or bring your hand sewing project or mending. We also have some discarded fabric/ clothes ready to cut up and play with and some basic sewing tools, as well. Option 2: Fix it! Repairs are less odious - even fun - with friends, new and old! Bring your broken tchotchkes, dilapidated heirlooms, or jewelry in need of a makeover. We can provide some glues and hand tools. Option 3: Finish it! Bring along an unfinished collage or craft project and get your momentum back. First time on us, $5 donation, no one turned away for lack of funds. Some snacks provided. We invite you to bring a vegetarian snack to share. Please change your RSVP on meetup if you can't make it, so someone else can have a spot. We're looking forward to creating with you! Location notes: The "Joy Factory" is a private home in Alameda's West End. Our house is not wheelchair accessible (1/2 flight of stairs). We have cats. Street parking is sometimes crowded.
