🎃 HALLOWEEN NIGHT: NIB Goes to Sonora 👻🍻 October 31st – Poblenou

Sat, Oct 31, 5:43 PM
From New in Barcelona – Meet People, Social Events & Expats
4.6

**Saturday\, October 31st \| 6:43 PM → 2:57 AM \| Sonora Sports Tavern\, Poblenou** Congratulations. 🎉 You survived another year in Barcelona. The rent. The bureaucracy. The tourists stopping suddenly in the middle of the pavement. The people who say **“we should definitely meet sometime!”** and are never seen again. After all that, **ghosts are honestly not that scary.** 😂👻 So this Halloween, **New in Barcelona is invading Sonora Sports Tavern** for their big Halloween Party — and the plan is beautifully simple: **We go together. We meet people. We drink. We laugh. We dance. We make new friends. And we collectively make decisions that seemed completely reasonable at 11 PM.** 💀🍻 ### 🧟 BUT I DON'T KNOW ANYONE... PERFECT. That is basically our model. 😂 You **do NOT need to bring friends**. Come alone. Seriously. Half the people at our events arrive knowing nobody. Then somehow, three hours later, they're taking group photos with 14 strangers and discussing a weekend trip together like they've known each other since kindergarten. **Socializing is weird. We just accelerate the process.** 🤝😂 ### 🎃 COSTUME? Highly recommended. This is your annual opportunity to dress completely ridiculously and, instead of people judging you, have them say: **“OMG I LOVE IT!** Take advantage of this rare loophole in society. 😂 Vampire? 🧛 Zombie? 🧟 Witch? 🧙 Sexy avocado? 🥑 We don't judge. Okay, maybe the avocado a little. And if you don't want to wear a costume, **come anyway**. Your terrifying everyday personality will be accepted. ❤️ ### 🎟️ IMPORTANT: THIS ONE REQUIRES A TICKET Plot twist. 💀 Unlike our usual free New in Barcelona events, **this party is organized by Sonora and entrance requires a ticket.** 🎟️ **Entrance: €15** *(plus booking fee)* 🍹 Includes **1 mixed drink/cubata OR 2 beers** **VERY IMPORTANT:** clicking **“Attend” on Meetup does NOT magically teleport a ticket into your pocket.** Meetup RSVP = **“I'm coming with you guys!”** Ticket = **“Security actually lets me inside.”** You probably want both. 😂 ### 📍 THE IMPORTANT STUFF FOR PEOPLE WHO SKIPPED EVERYTHING ABOVE 📅 **SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST, 2026** ⏰ **6:30 PM → 3:00 AM** 📍 **Sonora Sports Tavern** **Carrer de Pamplona 96, Poblenou, Barcelona** 🎟️ **€15 + booking fee** 🍺 **Includes 1 mixed drink/cubata OR 2 beers** ### 👻 STILL THINKING ABOUT IT? Of course you are. Human beings apparently need to open an event **seven times** before deciding whether they want to go. 😂 But consider your two possible Halloween timelines: **TIMELINE A:** 🎃 You get your ticket. You come. You meet a ridiculous amount of people. You laugh. You dance. You make new friends. Someone dressed as Dracula somehow ends up in your Instagram stories. **Excellent decisions were made.** **TIMELINE B:** 🛋️ You don't get a ticket. Saturday night arrives. You open Instagram. You see everyone out celebrating Halloween. You whisper: *"Hmm... maybe I should have gone."* Netflix asks: **“Are you still watching?”** Yes, Netflix. **Yes, I am.** 💀😂 Don't be Timeline B. ### 🖤 NEW IN BARCELONA — HALLOWEEN EDITION Whether you've lived in Barcelona for **10 years, 10 months or approximately 10 minutes**, come meet people from our community and celebrate Halloween with us. **Come alone. Come with friends. Come dressed as something ridiculous.** Just come ready to socialize. Because the scariest thing this Halloween isn't ghosts… **it's realizing on November 1st that you missed the party.** 👻😂 Join the Whatsapp group of the event! [https://chat.whatsapp.com/JbRCRCj9eTs9XY0HOR4Z3J](https://chat.whatsapp.com/JbRCRCj9eTs9XY0HOR4Z3J) 🎃 **GET YOUR TICKET FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST AND JOIN US AT SONORA.** [https://entradium.com/events/halloween-party-sonora-31-10](https://entradium.com/events/halloween-party-sonora-31-10) **See you there, you beautiful socially dysfunctional creatures.** 💀🍻❤️ And yes we will celerbrate TWICE!

Spanish & English Exchange in Groups of 4 - Matched by Job & Interests

Spanish & English Exchange in Groups of 4 - Matched by Job & Interests

Sun, Nov 1, 2:00 PM
From Guided Language Exchange & Learning - Only Serious Learning
4.8

**START HERE: fill this 3-minute form to get your group 👉** [sign-up](https://tally.so/r/ODWkeK) **⚠️ IF YOU DON'T FILL IN THE FORM AT LEAST 24H BEFORE THE EVENT, WE CAN'T MATCH YOU AND YOU CAN'T JOIN. RSVP ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH.** At language exchanges, groups never last because people don't relate to each other. You end up talking with random people you have nothing in common with. Next time it's another random group, and you start again from "where are you from?". It's Russian roulette, and you waste so much time. I didn't want more random chats. I wanted people I'd actually keep practicing with. I wanted people who where serious about learning. So I made the format I wanted 👉 1. **Apply first.** The form is written in the language you're learning. It's your first exercise, and it tells us who you are and who you need to write to. 2. **Get matched.** Groups of 4 with at least 1 person with good level of Spanish or English. Same level first, then age, same job or goal (marketing, tech, IELTS, moving to Spain...), then shared interests. 3. **Meet your group.** At the event you find out who's in your group and do a first guided exercise together, writing and speaking. We give you the topics and materials. 4. **Keep going on WhatsApp.** After the event, your group continues in writing. 3 prompts a week: you write in the language you're learning and reply to one person in your native language. **Warning ⚠️:** * No form, no group. We build the groups from the form, so there are no last-minute spots. * If we can't balance your group (for example, too many Spanish speakers), you go on the waitlist with priority for the next edition. * It's for people who are serious about learning. If you're not here to learn, this probably isn't for you. **Logistics 🗺️:** **MEETING POINT:** Vallcarca station, address: Avinguda de la República Argentina 110. EN: After the turnstiles, take the stairs on the right to go up. ES: Después de los torniquetes, sube por las escaleras de la derecha. ***
