Compassion Unites in the Park
Sun, Jun 7, 4:00 PM**Compassion Unites in the Park is a free community gathering where we come together to explore simple yet profound yogic practices designed to cultivate inner peace, resilience, vitality, and conscious living.** **Each gathering includes guided meditation, breathwork, gentle yogic techniques, and group discussion in a welcoming outdoor environment. Whether you are completely new to meditation or have an established practice, you are invited to join us as we learn, practice, and grow together.** **The practices shared come from Yoga of Immortals (YOI), a system curated by Dr. Ishan Shivanand, a mental health researcher and master teacher of ShivYog. These time tested practices have been the subject of scientific research, demonstrating significant improvements in well being, including reductions in symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, and depression, along with meaningful improvements in overall quality of life.** **Our intention is simple: to create a space where people can experience greater balance, clarity, connection, and compassion while building community together.** **All gatherings are offered free of charge as a service to the community. For those who feel inspired to support the continuation of these events, optional donations are welcome. Copies of Dr. Ishan Shivanand’s Nautilus Award winning book, The Practice of Immortality, will also be available for those interested in exploring these teachings more deeply.** **You can read more about the research of these practices here if you’re interested:** **https://www.yogaofimmortals.com**
