It is a great way to go out on your own or with friends and meet other fun people in a super organized and interesting way! This week we present our Jazz Age Murder Mystery where in a swanky NYC nightclub during prohibition, a grisly murder takes place and everyone is a suspect! No expertise is necessary–just your love of having fun! Admission to the murder mystery also includes admission to our singles party immediately following at the same venue. **What to expect:** Register below and join us at The Wilson. Our NYSN staff will be on hand to welcome you, introduce you to others and explain how the night works. Everyone will be given a character sheet explaining who they are and how they fit into the story. Your Jazz Host will guide you through the story and help you interact with the others at the event to help you solve the murder. Throughout the night different things will be revealed to help you reach your goal. Following the event you are invited to stay for our singles mixer at The Wilson for free. **The Theme:** During a night of Prohibition-era revelry, something goes terribly wrong. Backstory The guests are a mixed group of club staff members, entertainers, and guests at a private party held at a jazz club in 1920s New York City. It is the height of the Jazz Age, and social revolution is afoot. This is the age of Prohibition—and of bootleggers and gangsters. Club owner Felix Fontano, the son of a successful bootlegger and crime boss—and a successful businessman himself—is throwing this private party for a group of select friends. It is a night of revelry like many other nights of revelry enjoyed by this group of sophisticates, artists, and hoodlums . . . until things go horribly wrong. **Cost:** $30 general members / $20 VIP members **Recommended ages:** 21+. **Can I come alone?** Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people. **Dress:** Casual, but neat. If you want to get into character, feel free to dress your gangster/flapper best! Questions? How It Works: * **When you arrive we will put you on teams - if you don’t already have one (90% of those attending will not have a team).** * **Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head to Grand Central to uncover the mystery of Mary’s demise. The team with the most points wins.** * **Once everyone is back we'll safely socialize where you can share your experiences with the others.** The Theme: Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You'd probably know her if you've been out before. She was very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need you help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of the NYC Landmark in ways that you never have before! Must prepay to attend.)* Scenic Singles event to meet, mix and mingle with others for a "Date Walk" at one of New York City’s hottest attractions – Little Island! Located at Pier 55 on Manhattan’s Hudson River Park, Little Island is a floating park full of greenery, open spaces, viewpoints, and more. Our "Sunset Singles Strolls" are an extremely popular way to meet others in a safe, outdoor setting. Enjoy a fun way to meet others while getting fresh air and exercise. This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with other singles in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views.
