Los Amigos happy hour and subsequent walk to Circus of Nightmares . Short walk

Lincoln beer company left Burbank so we have to go to a new place this year . Happy hour is from 2 to 7 . You can arrive when you wish but Group plan will be to be there at Los amigos from 4 to 6 . We will be playing Jenga, Uno and any othergames people wish to bring . After happy hour and group socializing we will head to Circus of Nightmares this is the other clown house in town. This night is scheduled to have a live show so we want to get there by 6:30 or 7 . this happy hour number is limited due to reservation at the restaurant. walk to Circus of Nightmares will start at 615 from restaurant. this portion will be short under a mile so people who don't like long walks this will be a good event. actual distance is about .5 miles to Circus of Nightmares. We will also post another walk that will be in the 4 to 5 mile range that will join the walk to Circus of Nightmares and then branch out from there. Seniors - Interactive & Therapeutic Music Session - Playing, Jamming, Dancing!

This meetup group is all about appreciating the wonderful music (pop, soul, rock, jazz) of decades past, roughly encompassing the 50's to the 80's. We use music to facilitate interaction and for the therapeutic benefits, especially for seniors, of rhythm-based music therapy. As a professional drummer and songwriter, I have found that listening to and enjoying music from a rhythmic standpoint has great benefits for people of any musical background. The only requirement is that you enjoy music too! This particular group is open to all individuals in the area who are at least 55 years in age. I have carried out many sessions like this with great results, as I especially love bringing joy to seniors, who too often don't have viable social opportunities and don't have any way of revisiting good memories from their youth via music. The primary reason to join this group is to HAVE FUN! To expand on that, the fun you have during these sessions is based on simultaneous appreciation of music and positive social interaction with an individual who is not necessarily in your age group (ME!). If you would like to enjoy not just listening to music, but interactively getting INSIDE the music by rhythmically playing along or clapping, then join! If you are looking to meet other like-minded, music-loving seniors, then join! If you want to have a unique experience enjoying music you love while creating lasting friendship, then join! While I certainly offer musical knowledge with each session and information regarding the instruments and the music that I bring, my priority is for you to have a great time while also possibly learning something about music! In a typical session, we begin by chatting for a few minutes about music (or any other topic!). Oftentimes, I will then do a quick performance to demonstrate the rhythmic approach to listening to music. Then, I pass out small instruments to whoever may be interested while we play, sing, clap, and dance! If you have limited mobility, you can still join in with small percussion instruments that I bring, or you can simply watch and listen. You will forget your aches and pains for an hour as we jam together within the context of music you love, like Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, Benny Goodman, the Grateful Dead, Michael Jackson, and a whole lot more. I often dance with and interact with everyone in the room while we play our instruments and forget our worries inside the music. If you're a senior who loves music, join our group today! CA Del Sol Happy Hour! This is a pre happy hour before our 7 pm Halloween walk

Either extend your weekend or start your new week off right !!!! We will be doing a short less than 1 mile walk to enjoy CA Del Sol happy hour on Cahuenga . We did this event a few times and it was a fun event . Bring as many 5 dollar bills as you like as this is what the online menu states is the price for the happy hour items. This is a pay your own event . Restaurant likes to do one group tab so bringing cash for your share is easiest . Great short social event for first timers. Initially walking to happy hour from north weddington at 4:30 . We will be at restaurant from 5:00 to 630 then walking back to park to start 7 pm halloween walk . If running late you can meet us at restaurant during the 5 to 6:30 window . We will be starting this happy hour and the regular walk from park location . Join us for one or both events

Hike around Haunted Hayride

We will walk around the haunted hayride to check it out. Walk is easy walk less than 1 mile. We are NOT going on the rides or inside. We will walk on trail that goes around it. They usually charge for parking so tell them you are here for a hike and not a customer of the ride. We will meet in front of the merry go round. We will wait 15 or so minutes.
