Discovering the Rich Heritage of the Meudon Forest

We will start by discovering its old hydraulic network built at the end of the 17th century to supply the fountains and basins of Meudon castle (since disappeared). This network was completely abandoned but has since been rehabilitated. It is mainly composed of ponds, channels and bridges. Then we will end our hike with a visit to Hangar Y, another abandoned and rehabilitated site. From the Bièvre to the gardens of the Palace of Versailles

From the 17th century, in Paris, it was used as an open sewer. Baron Haussman had buried it. Fortunately in recent years, the river has been reborn with many rehabilitation projects. Following its course, we will walk along the different ponds.
