And you are guaranteed to play multiple games as we have a couple games going on at a time. You will also have video highlights taken so make some plays ! We will be playing

Our sessions are tailored for top-level gameplay, and we are a tight-knit NYC football community with pros, MLS Next Pro–level players, and players with strong high-level experience. These sessions are designed to help refine skills and maintain top-level fitness. Along with our coaches, I personally provide coaching and mentorship as part of our elite-level Hudson River Football Club NYC football community.* ***Welcome to Hudson River FC, the highly creative and competitive soccer group! PLEASE NOTE that attendance is being taken so make sure you’re signing in and paying the $10 fee PRIOR to taking the field. This will help cover the permit, clinchers and all expenses coming out of pocket. • Rsvp’s will have 1st dibs at playing time given they arrive by 10:00. Any rsvp arriving past said time will be counted as a no show, this is to ensure we start playing at a promptly manner and there’s no long waitlist. Waitlisted ppl can come at their own risk of not playing given if we have all rsvp’s show there will be no guaranteed playing time. Absolutely NO late walk ons will be allowed to join, it’s very simple to mark yourselves attending. • 3 NO SHOWS will get you BANNED from this group. • Any ball hit to right field whether it hits the tree on the fly or rolls into the walk path will be ruled a double. • Sliding is allowed but runner must give themselves up to avoid collisions on bases including home at all cost. • NO METAL CLEATS. • Runner leaves on contact! • NO HOGGING POSITIONS. We share positions in this is meetup, we’re not a competitive league! • BP will take place only if we don’t have enough ppl to field a game, otherwise we’ll start playing from the get. • NO plus 1’s will be allowed! This is to ensure attendance is being taken correctly and to properly keep tabs on the no shows.

Warm-ups @*** *3:40 PM **when possible, Game starts @** 4:00 PM. On time arrival allows us to get maximum game time in.* \*\*\* Where: **Central Park Great Lawn,** Field 7\*. Northern end of the Great Lawn, on the other side of the oval path that circles the main part of the Great Lawn. Enter at 86th Street. \*\*\* Post-Game drinks (most weeks):\*\* Craft and Carry (2nd Ave between 84th/85th) \*\*\* Weather: \*\*Check the hotline (212-628-1036 x111). I will do my best to keep everyone updated via email if weather looks iffy. I will cancel the event if the game is cancelled. \*\*\* Games will be cancelled \*\*if is (or “feels like”) 90°F+ or there are fewer than 18 RSVPs. **Fees & RSVPs** \*\*\* Cost: \*\*10/week (\*\*120 season cap **or $110 if you pay prior to the first game).** \*\*\* Payment: **electronic app of choice: Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, CashApp or cash at the game.** You must pay before you can play. \*\*\* Cancellations: **RSVP limit is 24. If someone late cancels and you are moved off the wait list but can’t attend, it won’t be held against you. **Equipment & Gameplay** \*\*\* Gear: \*\*Wear sneakers/cleats. Bring a glove if you have one (limited extras available). Balls and bats provided, but feel free to bring your own bat if you prefer. \*\*\* Batting: \*\*batters start with a 0-0 count and we work with a 3 swing rule. If your third swing is a foul, you will be out even if it is not caught. If we happen to have an umpire, we will call standard balls and strikes \*\*\* Baserunning: \*\*No leads or stealing. Slide at your own risk (field conditions are not great for sliding). \*\*\* Field Rules: \*\*A ball will be considered DEAD if it is hits a tree, over a fence, behind the backstop, or long there is overthrow at 1B. Runners advance one base. A ball is LIVE if it hits the fence along 3B or if it is hit deep into the trees. \*\*\* Positions: \*\*Pitcher and Catcher will rotate unless someone wants to play that position the whole game
