Human Design Workshop

Human Design Workshop

Tue, Jul 28, 4:30 PM
From Berlin Astrology
4.8

Welcome to Astro Meetup Berlin’s special presentation on Human Design - a profound system that unites astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the chakra system, and modern science into a unique map of energetic blueprint. In this 2-hour deep dive, we’ll explore what the teachings of Human Design are all about. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the system works and why it is particularly relevant in these transformative times. We’ll also touch on the topic of the shifting global background frequency and what it means from a Human Design perspective. In the final part of the session, we’ll explore the different Human Design Types, followed by time for your questions. During the occurrence of a supernova in 1987, the Canadian Alan Robert Krakower, later known as Ra Uru Hu, received a profound revelation that became known as the Science of Differentiation. It reveals the energetic blueprint of life and the mechanics of the planetary program, while supporting individuation and uniqueness in an increasingly homogenised world. Its purpose is to help each individual to align with their unique design and navigate life through their own inner authority. Your host, Pamila, has studied the original teachings of Ra Uru Hu for more than 11 years. As a Reflector, she brings a unique perspective to the system and is passionate about sharing its wisdom in a grounded, practical, and accessible way. **If you want to create your own chart, you can use the link below and bring it either in print or in digital version to follow along with the last part.** [https://wayofcosmicspirit.de/what-is-human-design](https://wayofcosmicspirit.de/what-is-human-design) **Guidelines**: – Start: 18:30 sharp (arrive earlier if you like) – Please stay on the topic of astrology – Respect, warmth, and honesty are essential – This is an event with limited spots, so be sure to RSVP (and please don't cancel last minute) *As an introductory price we'll remain with our 5€ fee, however prices may vary in the future, according to hosts and specific workshops.* *This time, we won't be meeting in a bar or café, but we'll be using the space of a music school, so please bring your own beverages and snacks.* Warm regards, The Astro Meet Up orga team.

Watercolor Day: A Beginner-Friendly Watercolor Workshop

Watercolor Day: A Beginner-Friendly Watercolor Workshop

Tue, Jul 28, 5:00 PM
From Berlin Art Workshops
4.4

This course covers the fundamentals of typography—presented in an accessible, practical way with plenty of room for drawing and experimentation. We view type not merely as text, but as form: What is the visual impact of a letter? Why does a typeface appear elegant, playful, bold, or understated? What makes type easy to read? And how can it become part of a drawing, a card, or a small design project? Together, we will explore the visual impact of type, letterforms, spacing, rhythm, composition, and the interplay between typography and illustration. Step by step, you will learn to observe letters more consciously, arrange words more harmoniously, and intentionally incorporate type into your own creative projects. The course takes place in a small group to ensure ample time for individual guidance, questions, and personal feedback. The focus is not on perfection or rigid rules, but on developing a keen eye, enjoying the creative process, and completing a small final project of your own. **Course content:** • Observing and understanding type more consciously • The differences between typography, lettering, calligraphy, and handwriting • Viewing letters as drawn forms • Fundamentals of letter anatomy • Spacing, rhythm, and white space • The visual impact of type and appropriate design choices • Small typographic compositions • Combining type and illustration • Developing a small personal project **About the instructor:** Antje Schubert is an illustrator, designer, and the founder of *süssmädchen.* For over a decade, she has been personalizing jewelry and accessories by hand, working daily with letters, words, and short messages. Through her professional work and personal drawing practice, she has developed a keen sense of the expressive power of type—conveyed through form, line, spacing, composition, and overall impact. Drawing is at the heart of her workshop: letters are not just observed but understood as forms, sketched, experimented with, and developed further through design. Who is this workshop for? This course is designed for anyone who enjoys drawing, designing, keeping a sketchbook, creating cards, or simply appreciates beautiful lettering—or for those who want to incorporate typography more intentionally into their creative work. It offers a practical, accessible approach with plenty of room to experiment. No prior experience is required! Everything is explained step-by-step. You don’t need to be an expert at drawing or have perfect handwriting; all that matters is curiosity, a passion for design, and a willingness to experiment. By the end, you will take home new foundational skills, practical exercises, greater confidence in working with lettering, and a small typographic piece of your own creation. **[Get your tickets (€29) here!](https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/typoworkshop/29)**

[face to face] professional communication exercise

Sun, Jul 26, 11:00 AM
From Berlin Software Designers
4.7

Join this Professional Communication session — to sharpen the skills for architectural pitches, elevator pitches, interviews. This time we meet in the Monbijou park. 💡 How it works The event is split into two parts: 1. **Communication (10 minute rounds)** – One participant answers a round of design and behavioral questions. Each other participant gets to ask him one question. 2. **Feedback Round** – The group provides feedback on communication, structure, and clarity. Constructive criticism is encouraged. 💡You will be asked: * **Light design problems** (high-level reasoning, not code) * **Behavioral questions** (“Tell me about yourself”, “Describe a challenge you faced...”) No need to prepare anything in advance — just bring curiosity and an open mind. 💡Note: location is the entrance to Monbijou park
