Hello everyone 👩‍🎨 Bring any art supplies you like and a picnic blanket or chair. We will just be sat on the grass outside the main yellow building doing art together. If you aren’t sure what to draw the club has a weekly drawing theme, just ask me what the prompt is 😊 There is also a small cafe inside the building for those who want a drink while they draw ☕️ ✏️ We welcome all artists of any skill level or medium, Whether you’re a beginner or pro, traditional or digital, absolutely anyone can join. ⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️ Please do not attend if you are sick. I have multiple chronic illnesses so my immune system is extremely weak. A Quiet Art Evening

A Quiet Art Evening (Self-Guided) Saturday, 13 June, 6:00pm — 8:00pm Venue: Box Hill (close to Box Hill Central; detailed address will be sent upon RSVP) This is a quiet, self-guided (untutored) space to slow down, create, and spend time alongside others. Bring your own materials and something you’d like to work on. It’s an evening to create unhurriedly in a shared space — to make, reflect, and simply be. Through art, we hope to create a gentle space for connection, encouragement, and shared presence. We hope this will become a simple monthly rhythm — a place to keep returning to, to create, connect, and enjoy the process together. If this resonates with you, feel free to RSVP here. PS. Artsy Afternoon @ O3Space ✨

Join us for a chill artsy afternoon, bring any art supplies you like 👩‍🎨🎨📝✨ Access to O3Space requires you to have the minimum ( FREE! ) membership that you sign up for when you download their app. Simply download the O3Space app, create a profile and use the QR code at the gate to enter/exit the building. The gate is located inside the tram on the right side of the cafe ☕️🚊 The free membership allows you in the building for up to 3 hours per week, if you go over they might charge you so make sure to use the QR code on your way out!! There is a timer countdown in the app so you know how long you have been there ⏰

Looking for participants for a new contemporary art conversation group.

**I am trialing a new form of get together for those who love contemporary visual art and art spaces. I invite you to visit one art exhibition during the month and then to meet with like-minded art-geeks to share details and impressions in a cafe environment. I will offer suggestions about which exhibitions to visit, but encourage you to visit the spaces/exhibitions in your own time and in your own company. I will offer prompts to enhance your gallery visit and also to encourage conversation when we unite at a cafe. Location and date of cafe meeting will be decided closer to time and with consultation with the group. I intend to keep group numbers small. Any gallery entrance costs and cafe costs to be paid by the attendees. Not a dating opportunity. Art lovers who like to combine solitary pursuits with community sharing are welcomed.**

There are many social events but it isn’t easy to feel connected to someone in a large group setting. I am super extroverted yet found myself walking home after a great social feeling more lonely, because of all the superficial connections made. I started Hue&Crew to help people build their next close-friend circle based on age, personality and interest! 🎨**What to Expect** This isn’t a big mixer event, every event has a limit of 6 people per table and a fishbowl full of conversation starters to help people get started! We move around Melbourne's many beautiful cafes weekly to keep things fresh! ### **Tibetan Art Workshop – Creative & Mindful Practice** Join this small-group workshop to explore Buddhist iconographic painting through guided, hands-on practice. Learn key elements of Tibetan art, including traditional symbolism and Buddha imagery, in a relaxed, supportive setting. This is a creative, educational workshop—not therapy; not a spiritual group. Work on your own painting at your pace, with guidance provided. Facilitated by a local Tibetan with a Diploma in Thangka Arts and Master’s studies in Buddhist studies, philosophy, and counselling, with traditional training and experience group programs in community and school settings and TAFE. Each session is a space for shared learning, where everyone’s creativity and curiosity is welcomed. ***No prior experience is needed, and all materials are supplied—your artwork is yours to take home!*** Open to all levels, the workshop is a space for creative exploration, cultural learning, and shared discovery. Art Lab: Sculptural Vessels

Join in on three weeks of sculptural play with local artist, Cecily Trajkov, at Wellington St Neighbourhood House. Over this set of Art Lab sessions you will create your own one-of-a-kind sculptural vase - week one, you will construct the base and over weeks two and three you will weave and sculpt its body. Places limited - booking required for these sessions. Origami and Chocolate

Join us for a relaxing time of folding together at the Ratio chocolate factory in Brunswick! Bring a fun origami project to fold and share, all while sipping on delectable hot chocolate! Standard origami paper will be provided. We just ask for a gold coin to help with group expenses.
