Creative Writing Café

This is a non-judgmental, positive and friendly environment where participants can share their writing, meet other writers, and have some time to write in silence. Our schedule goes something like this: Introductions (first 5-15 minutes) Silent Writing (for the rest of the hour) Sharing Work and Feedback (1 hr, 3 minutes/500 words per person) Sometimes we go a little past 6pm. After someone finishes reading, listeners should share **positive** feedback. This has been the expectation for this group for a long time. This is a long-standing writing group that used to meet at the Sleeping Cat Café which then went out of business but now has been replaced with Books N' Cup. We kept our weekly meetings going in the meantime at various locations.
