🧵 **Embroidery Workshop + Clothing Swap** 🧵 Looking for a creative, low-pressure way to meet new people? Join us for an afternoon of embroidery, upcycling, coffee, homemade treats, and community. Whether you've never sewn before or you're already crafty, this workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. Naomi, a textile artist from Belgium with over 20 years of experience, will guide us through the fundamentals of embroidery and help you bring new life to clothing, bags, jackets, and fabric pieces. All materials and instruction are included. After the workshop, we'll transition into a casual clothing swap and social mixer. Bring clothes, accessories, shoes, jewelry, or bags you'd like to trade, or simply come hang out and meet new people. This event is centered around creating a comfortable, community-focused space for queer people, femmes, nonbinary folks, and allies. Registration priority is given to queers and femmes to help foster the vibe we're cultivating. I'll bring cards and pens for you to write a witty and non spoilery description to take to your book. We will go around in a circle and play book white elephant. Three steals max. Bring a drink or snack you want to share and bring a blanket. Remember this is a book swap and not a book deposit so don't bring extra books. I will do my best to bring a balloon and I'll post a more specific pin and pictures when the day comes.
