Bring that poem or monologue you’ve been working on, share your tight 5-minute comedy set, or give that guitar a moment in the spotlight—this is your stage. Open Mic Night is part of our new Happy Hour series, so come early and stay awhile. Enjoy $8 wine, $5 beers, and grab an empanada (or two!) while you take in the performances. ✨ Bonus: Tuesdays are also Super Tuesdays—students and seniors receive 20% off at the register with valid ID. New York Dodgeball Open Gym (UES)

This is a social event, so while some of us like to revel in being competitive, the goal is to meet people and have fun! That being said, headshots are **NOT ALLOWED**. We use cloth style dodgeballs. This provides a fun, friendly and competitive environment without any pain or bruising. The games are set to cool music. Basically, it’s one big party with dodgeball, music and friends. We’ll pick teams from people who show up each week. There will be no refs, but experienced New York Dodgeball players will oversee games. Co-ed, ages 21 and up. Please note we **always** have enough players for this event. Meetup is just one place we advertise, so if you only see one or two RSVPs please know that there will be others attending. We have a regular group of players who attend regularly and we would love for you to be part of this group. Wear athletic style clothing (work out clothes, basketball sneakers) and knee pads if you have them. If you wear glasses, we recommend wearing contacts or sports goggles. Ready for a night of hilarious, unscripted discovery? **Improv NOW!** presents its flagship **Improv Jam**—a dedicated space to play, take risks, and sharpen your comedic instincts. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a curious newcomer, everyone is welcome to participate or simply watch the magic unfold. **Program** * **The First Hour \| Scenework:** We dive into grounded scenes inspired by audience suggestions. With sets ranging from 2-person beats to larger group dynamics, this is the **perfect environment to practice your scenework** and explore character relationships. * **The Second Hour \| Community Show:** We shift gears into longer improvised sets where the groups of individuals work together. GUMBO Sunday Sprints (FREE COWORKING!)

Gumbo's monthly open coworking day! Meet other devs, focus, and get some work done on your games. **AGENDA:** *10:30-11am* \- croissants \+ coffee \(free\!\)\, hang out\, meet people\, set a goal for the day *11am-6pm* \- work\! *6pm* \- demos \- show what we got done for the day\! The Friday Improv Jam ($10 IN PERSON)

At this improv jam, ALL who show up are welcome to take the stage and perform improv... or you can watch in a fun and supportive environment! The jam will consist of 2-person scenes, group scenes, and either short sets as a group or a fun game to end the jam. You'll have a chance to randomly play with different people and even some veteran improvisers! Participate as much or as little as you would like. Or simply come and watch! If you're think you're ready, you're ready! All scenes will be inspired by a suggestion of a random word from the audience.
