Los Angeles đșđž Practical Philosophy Meetup
Tue, Jun 9, 2:00 AM**đïž WHAT'S PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ABOUT?** Practical Philosophy is a weekly meet-up that brings critical thinkers together for an opportunity to dive deep on a topic, practice communicating, and building a community. All with no âofficialâ philosophy knowledge required! đ Practical Philosophy is based on the idea that philosophy should be accessible to all, and not something reserved only for academics. Each week we choose a topic, and the goal is to use the conversation to develop our critical thinking and communication as we explore that topic. The goal is to help develop our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community đ đ **HOW DOES IT WORK?** Each week, we pick one topic and discuss it. The topic for the week is shared, generally in the [Whatsapp group](https://tally.so/r/EkNAll), along with jump-off points to get the conversation going. If the group gets bigger than 10-15 people, we will consider breaking into smaller groups. This way we are able to maintain a conversational flow and ensure everyone has a chance to participate. **General Meeting Agenda** Each Practical Philosophy begins at 7:00p and follows this general timeline: * 7:00-7:15 - People arrive and chat, get to know each other before the âofficial' start. * 7:15-7:25 - Meeting introduction, explanation of Practical Philosophy and the topic for the week, read the guidelines and the overview so attendees know what to expect in terms of timelines. * 7:25-8:45 - Main discussion on the selected topic - allow the conversation to evolve organically and/or use the âjump-offâ questions as prompts to guide the conversation. Itâs not obligatory to answer them. * 8:45-9:00 - Wrap up and closing thoughts. Organizer concludes the meeting and everyone takes a group photo. * 9:00 - The official meeting is over but itâs a great opportunity to get to know people in a non-structured environment, so we often stick around, chat, and get to know each other. **đ§§PRICING?** Practical Philosophy Club is FREE to attend! Depending on venue, we may ask that you buy a beverage/snack. Some chapters rent a space for us to meet, and they may ask for donations to help contribute to the cost. Donations will always be 100% voluntary though! **đ WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY** đŁ âI feel like Philosophy Club helps someone build their own belief system through a series of perspectives while not promoting whatâs right and wrongâ - Ekam đŁ âI got hooked from day 1 (the topic was authority) and felt it was the right place for me. I feel it is a place where people can go to learn and discuss new perspectives and increase critical thinking and community by interacting with people who might challenge your point of views but at the same time encourage you to have openness and mind flexibility.â - Daniel **đ€ FAQ** * âWhat will we talk about? What's the topic? âThe topic for the week is shared every Sunday in the Whatsapp group. We try to add the topic to the comment section on this event page as well but if you donât see it, the topic and the jump-off points will be in our [Whatsapp](https://tally.so/r/EkNAll). * Do I need to study or read anything to attend? No preparation is necessary. This isnât a study of other thinkers. We want to know what YOU think about the topic, not what an old philosopher thought. If you have a perspective from a religion or a school of thought to share, throw it on the table and weâll discuss it, but it's not required. * Is there a specific philosophy that Practical Philosophy is focused on? The goal of our meet-ups is to not have dogmatic discussions, and flex our critical thinking muscles. Because of this, we want to hear from every realm of thought, and don't study a particular school. * Is it mostly men that attend? Surprisingly, no! Our Practical Philosophy meetups are generally 50/50 between genders. * Can I come alone? Of course you can, we encourage it :) * Can I be late? Please don't be! We do have a 15 minute grace period where we allow people to funnel in while we hang out, but after that if you arrive too late, it disrupts the flow of the conversation. * Where do you meet? The location is posted in Meetup and our [Whatsapp](https://tally.so/r/EkNAll) group for this location. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you join the Whatsapp group! If you want to know what other cities have a Practical Philosophy Club, you can see our chapters on our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/practical-philosophy-locations/). **đ€POLICY** To respect our members privacy, we ask that no one privately message a member without first getting explicit consent. (This looks like speaking in person and being asked to message privately. Contacting or texting other participants without prior consent is not permitted and may result in removal from the group. Practical Philosophy reserves the right to enforce this policy at its discretion to maintain a safe and respectful **PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY - Making Philosophy Available To All. âš** Practical Philosophy hosts weekly, in-person meetups in over 35 countries, including Canada, Spain, Japan, Mexico and many more! đșïž \*\*\* Join our [Whatsapp group](https://tally.so/r/EkNAll) đ Follow us on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/practicalphilosophyclub/) đ Our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/) đ

In Person: Vigor Energy Healing (VEH) w/Daniel
Thu, Jun 4, 10:30 PM***If you have any issues signing up for or attending the class please email [admin@healoneworld.org](http://mailto:admin@healoneworld.org/) as soon as you experience problems.*** **Offering:** Vigor Energy Healing (VEH) w/Daniel **Day and Time:** Biweekly on Thursdays starting June 4th at 3:30pm to 5pm **Teacher Bio:** Hello! I am Daniel PhĂș Äinh, founder of Vigor Energy Healing (VEH). I became a healer unexpectedly, without formal certifications such as Reiki, Qigong, Tai Chi, or other traditional healing systems. In late 2024, I began meditating for one hour every night for nearly six months. Around May 2025, I started to feel a powerful change in my handsâintense heat, especially at the tips of my fingers. I also experienced strong sensations of tingling, pressure, warmth, and energy flow. Deep inside, I felt this was a healing gift meant to be shared with others. Around July 2025, I began helping and healing people while gradually learning how to work with the energy naturally flowing through me. Over time, I discovered that each person requires different forms of healing energy depending on their physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual condition. Through experience, practice, and intuition, I developed my own unique healing method: Tri Energy Healing. An important part of my healing philosophy is the energetic connection between the Universe, myself, and the client: Universe}={Daniel}={Client To me, healing is not created by one person alone. I see myself as a bridge or channel connecting universal energy with the clientâs energy field. Through this connection, energy, intention, clear compassion, and healing can flow in harmony. One of the symbolic foundations of my healing philosophy is my personal energy formula: âłEe = MCÂČ â eâą by Daniel PhĂș Äinh I propose a personal and symbolic interpretation of energy, consciousness, and human transformation. While the well-known formula E = MCÂČ is often understood as representing the energy of the universe, my symbolic formulaââłEe = MCÂČ â eâąârepresents the energy of an individual human being and the continual transformation of that energy throughout life. For me: * The âł (triangle) symbolizes energy transference, transformation, balance, and evolution as energy flows into and through the human body. * Ee represents evolving energy, emotional energy, and expanding human consciousness. * MCÂČ symbolizes the inner universal energy and potential that exist within every individual. The strength, depth, and development of this energy may differ from person to person depending on the condition of the body, mind, spirit, emotions, and life experiences. * âe represents the energy that is consumed, released, reduced, or exhausted through daily life, stress, suffering, emotions, physical activity, and human experiences. **Together, the formula symbolizes the continuous balance between receiving, transforming, creating, and expending energy within human life.** **This formula is not intended as traditional physics or medical science. It is a symbolic and spiritual expression of my personal healing philosophy, inspired by human consciousness, compassion, transformation, and the connection between the individual and the Universe.** **My work focuses on learning how to connect with universal energy, create and generate healing frequencies, combine multiple energies, and connect deeply with each clientâs energy field. I view healing energy as a form of living medicineâcarefully created and directed for each individual person.** **Before entering the field of energy healing, I spent many successful years as a professional eyelash artist and innovator, developing 11 U.S. patented techniques while working with high-profile clients.** **That journey taught me precision, creativity, patience, deep concentration, and the importance of understanding each person individually. Those same qualities now influence my healing philosophy and the development of my symbolic energy formulas and Tri Energy Healing method.** **Today, I bring that same level of dedication, focus, and mastery into my healing workâhelping clients experience fast, powerful, and meaningful transformation.** **I believe in the connection between the Universe, higher powers, the Nine Generations of Ancestors, Buddha, Jesus, compassion, and human consciousness. These spiritual inspirations guide my healing philosophy with respect, gratitude, humility, and clear compassion.** **I respect and accept all religions and spiritual paths that encourage goodness, healing, peace, and positive transformation.** **âI believe intention, clear compassion, and positive energy create a deeper connection between the healer, the client, and the Universe.â \~ Daniel PhĂș Äinh** *Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no costâno one is turned away due to lack of funds.
