Stress Management Workshops

From Stress Management Workshops

Join online or in person. Stress can affect our clarity, energy, confidence, relationships, wellbeing and performance. This practical four-week programme is designed to help participants understand how stress affects the mind and body, recognise their personal warning signs and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of responding to stress and pressure. Participants may attend **one workshop or complete all four sessions**. Each workshop provides valuable standalone learning, while attending the full programme offers a more comprehensive journey through managing pressure, preventing burnout, improving recovery and developing healthier lifestyle habits. Every 1.5 hour workshop will combine clear teaching with practical and interactive learning. Participants will take part in guided self-assessments, personal reflection exercises, group discussions, real-life scenarios and practical activities designed to turn information into action. Nobody will be pressured to disclose personal information, and activities can be approached at each participant’s own level of comfort. The workshops will explore how to identify stress triggers, maintain clarity under pressure, recognise the early signs of burnout and establish healthier boundaries. Participants will also examine how exercise, sleep, rest, recovery, nutrition and hydration can influence energy, concentration, resilience and overall wellbeing. There will be opportunities in each session to ask questions, contribute to discussions and explore how the principles can be applied to individual circumstances. A dedicated Q&A section will allow participants to raise questions, clarify key points and receive practical guidance about the challenges they may be experiencing in work, business or everyday life. Participants will leave with practical take-home tools rather than information alone. These will include stress-trigger mapping, pressure-reset techniques, burnout warning-sign checklists, boundary-setting strategies, recovery-planning exercises and personalised action plans. The goal is not to promise a life without stress. It is to help participants become better equipped to manage it. Whether attending one workshop or the complete programme, participants will leave with greater awareness, practical strategies and clear next steps for protecting their wellbeing and performing more sustainably. **Workshop 1: Stress Management – Peak Performance Under Pressure** **Date:** Thursday, 27 August 2026 **Time:** 7:00 pm–8:30 pm **Workshop 2: Stress Management – Burnout Prevention** **Date:** Thursday, 3 September 2026 **Time:** 7:00 pm–8:30 pm **Workshop 3: Stress Management – Exercise, Rest and Recovery** **Date:** Thursday, 10 September 2026 **Time:** 7:00 pm–8:30 pm **Workshop 4: Stress Management – Wellbeing, Diet and Nutrition** **Date:** Thursday, 17 September 2026 **Time:** 7:00 pm–8:30 pm **Venue:** All four workshops will take place at the same venue and online. Killing the Manual Roll-Forward (It Deserved It) | Sean Mooney

Killing the Manual Roll-Forward (It Deserved It) | Sean Mooney

Mon, Sep 21, 5:00 PM
From London Excel Meetup Group
4.7

In this in-person session live in London, we will hear from Sean Mooney. **What to Expect** You know the drill. It's working day three, the actuals have landed, and you're about to spend your afternoon dragging formulas, repointing ranges and whispering "please don't break" at a workbook held together by hope and paste-special. There is a better way, and it doesn't involve VBA, macros or crying. Using a live MI pack and a three-statement model, Sean will show how modern Excel gives you time back: * LET and LAMBDA: write a calculation once, give it a name, and never copy it across 400 cells again * SEQUENCE, FILTER and friends: date spines, actuals/forecast switches and roll-forwards that rebuild themselves when a new month arrives * Live Power Query tables feeding the whole thing, so "updating the actuals" becomes one click * Patterns you can steal on Monday morning, plus an honest view on when LAMBDA is genius and when it's just showing off Suitable for anyone who builds management reporting or models in Excel and would like their evenings back. This meeting will be held in **Meeting Room 3 of Canada Water Library** (literally next to the Canada Water DLR station) Afterward, we will walk a few paces to **Leadbelly's Bar & Kitchen** for some drinks and chat.
