Tuesday = groovesday! End your day in a fun way, connect with others through the joy of music, and learn some fabulous Brazilian rhythms in the process. We're a friendly group of rhythm-hungry folk and we'd love to meet you! Just bring your lovely selves, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and have some fun! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as we'll be standing while we drum. All drums are provided. Cost of the session is $12, payable on the night by either credit card or cash (please bring correct change). Arrive 10 minutes before the class as the door closes at 7pm sharp (we have to respect the neighbours and close the doors and sound curtains once we start playing ... sadly that means we won't hear anyone banging on the doors after we have started, so if you are late, unfortunately you will miss out). Plenty of free parking outside the hall on Jubilee Lane. We also get invited regularly to play at some awesome events (we've played at Gabs Craft Beer Festival, Meatstock Music & BBQ festival, Torch Fest, Global Rhythms etc). So, if you become a regular attendee at rehearsals, and have a basic sense of rhythm you will be invited to join us at some or all of the gigs. They are SOOO much fun! \o/

🎭 Anyone Up for a Musical(The Greatest Showman)?

Hi everyone! I wanna watch musicals and often keep an eye on TodayTix for last-minute discounted tickets. Sometimes I want to go see a show but don’t have anyone to go with, so I thought I’d create this group for others in the same situation. The idea is simple: if a good deal pops up, we can get a small group together and enjoy a musical (COME ALIVE! The Greatest Showman) I’m currently planning to see a show " COME ALIVE! The Greatest Showman " on Wednesday, 17 June, if I can grab a ticket through TodayTix. If you’re interested in joining, feel free to come along! SSP WED - Northside Chat & Edit - Night Photography

Meet for chat over a drink and snack or dinner. Tonight, if you are in the mood, we can discuss editing images, with an emphasis on night photography. I will bring a laptop with Lightroom Classic installed. We can discuss any aspect of editing your images. Most image editors are similar, so even if using a different editor, the techniques are similar, mainly due to the menu system. Feel free to bring image(s) on a usb stick, SD, microSD memory card or an iPhone that supports Airdrop. Using Lightroom we can work on extracting the story of the image. SSP Tue - Alley and Lane ways of Sydney - Maverick Marrickville

Hopefully this will be part of a series of walks to discover the lanes and alleys ways of Sydney. We’re heading to the industrial heart of Sydney’s inner west to capture the raw, unscripted soul of Marrickville. This is a photowalk about contrasts: heritage brickwork meets vibrant modern street art, and gritty manufacturing history meets a fast-evolving community. More details to come after I have had a chance to explore the possibilities.
