Rethinking Facilitative Leadership: Techniques that Stick

Since meeting at a previous IAF New York Chapter event, Mike Rossius and Douglas Williamson have been blending our different US and international experiences and rethinking what facilitative leadership can look like today. That collaboration pushed us to redesign some of the classic ideas and build practical, modern frameworks that actually help new leadership habits stick in real organizational life. In this workshop, we’ll walk you through the core principles that came out of that work and give you a chance to try the tools yourself so you can feel how they function in practice. We’ll also look at where technology meets facilitation and show you how we help leaders use AI as part of their preparation and decision‑making. Whether you’re a facilitator looking for fresh approaches or a leader who wants something you can apply right away, you’ll leave with tested methods that make leadership behaviors easier to adopt and sustain. CFO AI Leverage Report: AI Budgets, ROI and Finance Sign-Off

**The Virtue Circle: Order — Character and Self-Improvement** **Location:** Starbucks inside Target **Address:** 88-01 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, NY 11373 **Length:** 25 minutes This is a meeting of **The Virtue Circle**, an in-person discussion group focused on developing one virtue or high-performance attribute at a time. This week’s virtue is **Order**. * **Definition:** Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time. * **Interpretation:** Order means giving your possessions, duties, time, and systems their proper place. * **Action:** Give one scattered item, task, document, or responsibility a clear place, time, or sequence. Order is an important virtue because it turns intention into execution. When things have a place and duties have a time, life becomes easier to run, easier to resume, and harder to neglect.
