Instead, we’re all detectives on the same case, working through witness statements, forensic reports, crime scene photos and evidence files, and arguing it out together until we know who did it and why. **What to expect** * **Format:** A sealed cold case file, opened in stages. Each stage ends with a checkpoint question, and you unlock the next envelope by proving what the evidence shows. There’s no host handing out answers, only the evidence. Let’s explore Wittenberg: Elbe sunset walk, old town + coffee & cake ☕

Wittenberg is where Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation in 1517, and it also happens to be one of the most charming towns along the Elbe, just 1.5 hours from Berlin by train. We’ll explore its UNESCO-listed old town: the Castle Church with the famous Theses Door, Luther’s house, painter Lucas Cranach’s courtyards and a beautiful market square. Then we’ll go for a short nature hike along the Elbe to watch the sun go down over the town’s skyline from the Elbe Bridge. In mid-November, with the last autumn colours and the early golden light, it’s the perfect time to see it! **The plan:** * **10:30** — Meet on the departure platform at Berlin Hbf, Platform 2 (sections A–D). We take the RE3 (3305) direct to Lutherstadt Wittenberg Hbf, departing Berlin Hbf at 10:41. In Germany, November 11 is St. Martin's Day, traditionally celebrated with lantern parades. These days, lantern walks are mostly organized for children – but why should they have all the fun? Grab your lantern and join the Social Butterflies for a magical autumn evening! We'll meet at **Uferstudios** near U Pankstraße for a short, leisurely 20–30-minute lantern walk along the Panke river. Afterwards, we'll head to **Jatz Bar**, where the evening continues with our regular **Wednesday Social / Julia's Salon** – drinks, conversations and good company! 🏮 **BRING YOUR OWN LANTERN!** Make one, buy one, find one, bring one.
