GATHERING OF ANIMATED SHORTS

You want to make animated short film, collaborate on, or be part of the creation process; this meetup is for you! From animators, storytellers, character designers, 3D modellers, sound designers or voice actors, join in and share your work. We present our creations and work processes, share our knowledge and skills, give and receive honest constructive feedback. This regular meet-up is there to set a structure in our creation process, initiate the opportunity to collaborate and to be a source of inspiration. The goal is the process. Let us enjoy the animations we want to make! PS: The café has another floor, take some time to look upstairs ;)

Calligraphy Workshop

Probieren Sie mit uns die japanische Kalligrafie aus! Alles Notwendige steht bereit, kommen Sie einfach und genießen Sie. Die Tradition der Kalligrafie wurde erstmals im 6. Jahrhundert von China nach Japan gebracht. Der Stil und die Technik, die in Japan einzigartig sind, haben sich später herausgebildet und wurden von den Samurai, dem Adel und der breiten Öffentlichkeit praktiziert. Wir üben verschiedene Arten von Kanji und versuchen, sie in künstliche Werke umzusetzen, die Sie natürlich auch mit nach Hause nehmen können. Ich hoffe, Sie haben Spaß und entdecken neue japanische Kunst! Try out Japanese calligraphy with us! Everything you need is ready, just come and enjoy. The tradition of calligraphy was first brought to Japan from China in the 6th century. The style and technique, unique to Japan, later evolved and was practiced by the samurai, the nobility and the general public. We will practice different types of kanji and try to transform them into artistic works, which you can of course take home with you. Multiple wonderful folding afternoons and creative moments have taken place at **[Anima](https://anima.radio/)** over the years, so we are thrilled to bring some paper magic back to this cozy corner of Berlin once again 💜 Whether you are folding with us for the first time or are an established regular by now, expect a relaxed and fun afternoon of folding, learning, chatting, and community spirit 📄✨ What you can expect at all our events: * **Mandatory donation (amount of your choice)** – this supports essential costs like the Meetup subscription and keeps our community thriving 🌱 You can either submit a **physical donation** to the event host in person or make a **digital donation** **[here](https://paypal.me/origamiberlin?locale.x=de_DE&country.x=DE)** (and inform the host afterwards). * In-person folding practice for all levels – beginners and experienced folders are equally welcome. * Origami paper + model instructions will be provided (from the host’s collection, for reference only). Dear Book Enthusiasts, For our June gathering, we’ll be reading ***The Summer Book*** by the Finnish writer **Tove Jansson**. First published in 1972, this quiet and deeply moving novel follows the relationship between a young girl and her grandmother as they spend a summer together on a small island in the Gulf of Finland. Through brief, luminous episodes, Jansson explores childhood, aging, nature, solitude, and the subtle bonds between generations with warmth, humor, and extraordinary sensitivity. Heartcore: Emo & Post-Hardcore Meetup (Beergarden Edition)

Unser Verein berlinCreators e.V. trifft sich jeden Freitag ab 18 Uhr im Makerspace. Wir haben Gruppen rund um Elektronik, 3D-Druck, Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – hier seid Ihr Willkommen. Ihr könnt mit anderen fachsimpeln, Euch inspirieren lassen oder auch mit unserer Hilfe Eure ersten Projekte starten. Wenn Ihr Euch bei uns wohlfühlt und Mitglieder bei den berlinCreators werden möchtest, freuen wir uns. Kommt vorbei, lernt den Space, uns und die Möglichkeiten kennen.

Wir bieten allen Interessierten die Möglichkeit, mit Elektronik zu basteln. Workshops und Vorträge zu verschiedenen Themen rund um Elektronik und Software sind willkommen. Von Arduino bis zu komplett selbst entwickelten High-End Schaltungen sind wir für alle kreativen Ideen offen. Wir haben auch Gruppen rund um das Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. Wir treffen uns immer am Dienstag und am Freitag ab 18:00 Uhr. Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – hier seid Ihr jederzeit Willkommen. Ihr könnt mit anderen fachsimpeln oder auch mit unserer Hilfe Eure ersten elektronischen Gehversuche starten. Wenn zeitgleich in den vorderen Räumen Workshops oder Vorträge stattfinden, kann hinten Werkstattbetrieb stattfinden.
