Join us on **Saturday, June 20th** at 11 AM for a highly engaging art gallery walk of best shows in Chelsea galleries. You will be led on an expertly planned, 2-hour art gallery walk of up to 8 galleries. This walk includes solo shows by international artists, including painting, sculpture, photography, and more. At Zwirner, we will explore an impressive show of Gerhard Richter, universally celebrated as the most important living German artist. We will take in a brand-new exhibition of Alex Prager's large-scale photographs, masterfully staged cinematic illusions. You will enjoy artist and environmentalist Meg Webster's unique indoor sculptures, which use all natural materials including soil, branches, and salt to create a dialogue between organic matter and the sculptural form. This tour involves reasonable walking distances within Chelsea, of no more than 8 to 10 blocks. This is our last walk prior to the summer break, when galleries move to a limited schedule. **Event Details:** **11:00 AM** meet at the entrance of *High Line Nine* gallery on 28th St **01:00 PM** one-hour lunch break **05:00 PM** event ends, regardless of how far we’ve progressed Starting from the *High Line Nine*, we will do our best to visit every gallery until we reach *Lehmann Maupin* on 24th St. This is a casual group gallery walk designed for inspiration and connection with fellow creatives—not a guided educational tour. Expect at least 8,000+ steps of walking. You're free to leave whenever you please. Just let us know so we won't have to wait for you. Please wear comfortable shoes and have breakfast before you arrive. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated! There is no fee to join. During lunch, anyone who wants informal feedback on their current creative projects is welcome to share. Critique is entirely optional. On Tuesday, June 9th it’s Museum Mile! 🖼️ Seven of the museums on 5th Avenue, from E 82nd to E 110th, will be free and open til 9pm. Full list is below. There will also be food and music along 5th Avenue as well! You’re welcome to show up whenever! The actual event starts at 6pm but we won’t be able to join at the Met (at East 82nd and 5th Avenue) until 7:30.
