La propuesta de esta actividad es participar en una visita comentada de la exposición *“El asalto de la ilusión”* que se celebra en el Centre d’Art Santa Mònica. A partir de un montaje escenográfico y pretendidamente teatral, la muestra invita a reflexionar sobre el poder de las imágenes en la construcción de relatos que condicionan nuestra percepción de la realidad, sobre todo en un momento marcado por la proliferación de imágenes manipuladas, los *deep fakes* y la expansión de la inteligencia artificial. Look Around: The Art of Seeing

**Look Around: The Art of Seeing** Artists Dan Banks and Daniel Catalano lead a creative walk from Parc de la Ciutadella through El Born to Claroscuro Galeria, exploring two complementary ways of seeing. Dan invites participants to look around—noticing the wider field through light, color, shadow, and imperfect composition. Daniel invites them to look closer, discovering tiny textures and forms that can become ambiguous, painterly worlds. We'll start in the park for an introduction, then take a leisurely observational journey to Claroscuro. Drawing and taking notes in a custom Claroscuro Fieldbook and using mobile devices to take photos, participants open themselves to simple perspective changes, observing color, texture, repetition, reflections, fragments, and unintended abstraction. The walk concludes at the gallery with refreshments and an informal conversation about what everyone noticed and how attention can become a creative practice. This is not a technical art or photography class. It is an accessible, hands-on experience designed to awaken curiosity and help participants encounter the familiar with fresh eyes.
