**Intouchables – 𝒊𝒏 🇫🇷𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 🇬🇧𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒔** **🎬 Date & Time: Friday, July 31st, Drinks from 7pm at the bar of the cinema, screening at 8pm** **📽️ Cinéma: Lucernaire, 53 Rue Notre Dame des Champs, Paris 6** **🎟️ Movie Tickets: €6.00 – €11.00** **[https://www.lucernaire.fr/cinema/intouchables/](https://www.lucernaire.fr/cinema/intouchables/)** **Following a paragliding accident, Philippe, a rich aristocrat, hires Driss, a young man from the suburbs just released from prison, as a home helper… In short, the least suitable person for the job. Together they will make Vivaldi and Earth Wind and Fire coexist, the word and the joke, the costumes and the tracksuit bottoms… Two universes will telescope, tame each other, to give birth to a friendship as crazy, funny and strong as unexpected, a unique relationship that will spark and make them… Untouchable.** **“It is possible to summarize the experience of watching “The Intouchables” in nine words: You will laugh; you will cry; you will cringe. The caricatures are astonishingly brazen, as ancient comic archetypes — a pompous master and a clowning servant right out of Molière — are updated with vague social relevance, an overlay of Hollywood-style sentimentality and a conception of race that might kindly be called cartoonish.” — The New York Times** **Watch the trailer with English subtitles: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34WIbmXkewU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34WIbmXkewU)**

Offline hugs, Stefania, The Offline Club Paris *** ## 🇬🇧 **English version** 🇬🇧 *** Let's transform one of the most screen-saturated places — the metro — into an offline zone, and celebrate **World Friendship Day** right where we feel the most isolated in daily life. *** **📵 Join this free event and swap your screen time for real time.** Picture this: dozens of strangers riding the metro with no phones in sight. Instead, they're playing the **Real Life Chat** — a game designed to spark real-life conversations. On Thursday July 30th, we're challenging Paris to pause its endless scroll and transform Line 6 into a phone-free nomadic living room. Ⓜ️ *** **What to expect:** ➡️ The outbound journey: **35 minutes of silent connection.** We write messages to each other on real paper and talk about everything — life, Paris, our dreams, our favourite memories... ⬅️ The return journey: **35 minutes to talk out loud**, connect, play and meet new people. 📵 Phones are switched off and put away for the entire round trip. *Note: The metro remains open to everyone — other passengers will likely join our line (probably with their phones 😉).* *** **Where & When:** 📍 **A round trip on Line 6**, from Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station (starting point) to Nation station, then back. Thursday July 30th, from 8:30 PM to approximately 10:00 PM. ⚠️ Please **arrive on the platform by 8:15 PM** — we'll be boarding the 8:37 PM metro. *** **Exact meeting point:** Station Charles de Gaulle – Étoile ➔ Line 6 ➔ Direction Nation ➔ On the platform. We'll be standing where passengers wait to board the train. *** 🎟 **Reserve your free spot** (or make a donation to **support our mission**). \*Please note: You will still need to validate your own transport ticket (single ticket or Navigo pass) to go through the barriers. *** **What to bring:** 📝 Paper and a pen 👯 Your friends, family, colleagues... basically everyone who would never forgive you for making them miss this *** We can't wait to swap screen time for a real moment of life with you. Offline hugs, Stefania, The Offline Club Paris 💛
