Wed, Sep 16, 5:30 PM

Fri, Sep 11, 4:00 PM
From WordPress Paris

Writers' On-Line Feedback Session via Zoom

Writers' On-Line Feedback Session via Zoom

Tue, Sep 22, 2:00 PM
From Paris Scriptorium
4.9

This group is for anyone interested in writing in English, whether it be prose or poetry or non-fiction. We get together once a week to listen, critique and support each other in our work. Attendees bring something they have written, six copies, printed out and no longer than seven pages, which they read aloud. They then receive feedback from the rest of the group. The size of the group is limited to 6, so that everyone is able to receive a full 30 minutes of constructive feedback including reading time. If you have nothing to read but would like to come and listen, you are most welcome too. We are an anglophone group and everything is conducted in English, in fact not everyone who comes can speak French. Please bear this in mind if you sign up.

Blood on the Clocktower in english (beginner-friendly)

**Attention: exceptionnellement les parties seront en anglais.** **An evening of bluff, deception and deduction! Open to English speaking players !** If you have never played Blood on the Clocktower (lucky you!), it's my all time favorite social deduction game, mixing elements of mafia/werewolf and a murder mystery: take on the role of one of Ravenswood Bluff's inhabitants and bluff, investigate, and work as a team to shed a light on what demonic forces have taken over the villagers. Or play for evil and work in the shadows to sow lies and distrust as you watch the town tear itself appart. * **The game is open to everyone** and will be beginner-friendly, with a full explanation of the rules before we start. A storyteller/game-master will be there to answer all your questions and make sure everyone is having a good time. * We will be playing at Les Caves Alliées, a medieval bar in Paris 6th. * Participation is free but we are in a bar, so don't forget to order something. They have a large choice of beers, softs, medieval drinks and snacks.

Sunday Writing Session

Sunday Writing Session

Sun, Sep 13, 8:00 AM
From Paris Lit Up
4.7

A weekly writing session brought to you by Paris Lit Up. Every Sunday morning, we get together at Neuvième Sauvage for two hours of writing. There are no exercises, workshops or assigned prompts. The idea is simply to have a regular time and place to sit down, work on whatever you’re writing, and do it in the company of other writers. Bring whatever you’re working on—fiction, poetry, nonfiction, a screenplay, an essay, or anything else—and whatever you like to write with. Laptops, tablets, notebooks and pens are all welcome. From 10:00 to 12:00, we write. There’s no pressure to share your work or talk about what you’re writing during the session. You can simply grab a coffee, find a seat and get some words down. Neuvième Sauvage also has good coffee and some nice breakfast options if you’d like something while you write. At 12:00, once the two hours of writing are over, those who want to stick around are invited to share what they’ve been working on. You can read something aloud, talk a little about what you’ve been writing, or just listen. Other participants are welcome to offer some light feedback, and it’s also a chance to chat and socialise after the morning’s writing. The Sunday Writing Sessions are free to attend. Neuvième Sauvage 20 Rue Gérando, 75009 Paris Sundays, 10:00–12:00 When you arrive, go up two levels. You’ll find us on the top floor. All genres and levels of experience are welcome.
