This meetup is for anyone—anyone at all—who enjoys playing around with words. You’ll be given a prompt (usually one word, such as “playground” or “shiver”) and time to express yourself in writing in response to it. Anything goes: prose, poetry, lists, letters, lyrics; any form which calls to you and demands expression. After we have finished writing, you will be invited to share your piece with the group (totally optional, but the feedback can be fun). The feedback (this is the only part with rules): Responses should be in the form of what stayed with you, what you remembered from the piece, what resonated with you. This is NOT a writing or craft class; there is no good or bad here. Critiques or suggestions miss the point. This is new, tender writing, and we honor it as such. All writing is considered fictional. Impressive historical ruins full of mystery crowning the landscape. The iconic Morro de Porc will reward us with immense and panoramic views of the entire surroundings. We will walk under the shade of the lush La Sauva Negra forest, which looks straight out of a medieval fairy tale. 🌲✨ 🌿 Why go now? The forest is at its peak. It is the perfect moment to lose yourself among the lushness of its trees and enjoy a spectacular greenery before the heat kicks in. Ideal weather for walking and watching nature burst into life. ☀️🌱 📖 I will tell you about the stories of the place, its fauna, flora, and heritage. 📸 I will teach you to improve your photography technically and conceptually with your mobile camera or with an external one. 👀 Through meditative hiking, we will work on active observation of the landscape to connect with the environment, with yourself, and disconnect from your routine. 🥾 I will guide you to improve your hiking skills and gear to take better care of your body and be able to complete increasingly powerful routes. 🧘‍♀️ The final goal is connection with nature and our well-being, not the kilometers or the technique.
