Torre Baró: descubre el barrio del 47 y los confines de Bcn
Sun, Nov 8, 10:00 AM**¡NUEVA RUTA PARA DESCUBRIR BARCELONA Y SUS BARRIOS MENOS CONOCIDOS!** En Descubridores seguimos proponiendo nuevos paseos guiados para visitar todos los rincones de la ciudad, y éste es uno de ellos. El escritor y activista social Paco Candel hablaba en los años 70 de aquellos barrios periféricos de Barcelona en los que **"la ciudad perdía su nombre**" y sin duda, Torre Baró, su castillo, y les Roquetes formarían parte de este conjunto. En nuestra ruta, pasearemos y visitaremos el **Castillo de Torre Baró** y sus miradores. Disfrutaremos de una de las mejores vistas de la ciudad, así como de todo el valle del Besós y parte del Vallés. Sin duda, se trata de **una de las panorámicas más espectaculares** y privilegiadas del Área Metropolitana que muy poca gente conoce y donde el turismo todavía no ha llegado. También hablaremos de la historia del propio castillo y de los barrios de los alrededores. Un conjunto muy singular que tenía que ser un hotel a principios del s.XX pero que quedó para siempre en el olvido. Posteriormente, bajaremos suavemente por Collserola hasta **Les Roquetes**, un barrio que los vecinos construyeron en los años 60 codo a codo. Pasearemos por sus **calles laberínticas** y terminaremos cerca de la Vía Júlia, donde podremos tomar algo en alguna de las muchas terrazas. Como siempre, tendremos las explicaciones de u**n guía licenciado en Historia por la UB** y buen conocedor de la ciudad. Sin duda, esta es una **ruta 100% descubridora** de Barcelona. Éste es nuestro **PLAN:** 1\. Encuentro en la salida del Metro de Llucmajor \(L4\-amarilla\)\. 2\. Subida panorámica en bus hacia Torre Baró\. 3\. Visita guiada por los miradores y el castillo de Torre Baró\. Explicaciones históricas\. Tiempo para disfrutar de las vistas\. 4\. Bajamos a pie hacia Les Roquetes\. Ruta por el barrio\. 5\. Terminamos en Via Júlia\, cerca del metro\. Posibilidad de tomarnos algo en alguna terraza de la zona\. **PRECIO**: 15 euros correspondientes a los honorarios de guía licenciado en Historia.

Thu, Nov 5, 5:00 PM**BDRL Open Lab: Future Footwear - Del Modelado SubD a la Fabricación Digital** **¿Cómo será el calzado del futuro?** La tecnología y los métodos de fabricación digital nos ofrecen un nuevo panorama para la personalización de nuestros objetos. ¿Y si pudiéramos imaginar, crear y fabricar nuestra propia indumentaria desde casa? Suena increíble, ¿no? Te invitamos a nuestro próximo BDRL Open Lab: Future Footwear, un workshop express de 3 horas diseñado para explorar las fronteras del diseño computacional aplicado a la industria del calzado. En esta sesión práctica, exploraremos el flujo de trabajo entre SubD (modelado orgánico y fluido) y Dendro (generación de estructuras volumétricas y porosas mediante vóxeles). Aprenderás la lógica detrás de las superficies complejas y cómo traducir estas geometrías para su materialización y fabricación (como la impresión 3D). No vamos a dibujar un zapato; vamos a programar la lógica de su estructura interna. **¿Qué aprenderás?** Los fundamentos del modelado orgánico con SubD en Rhino 8. La lógica de vóxeles y estructuras volumétricas con Dendro. Cómo conectar el diseño generativo con flujos de fabricación digital. This evening brings together two sessions on how to close that gap: how to build AI on business data in a way you can check, trust and explain. *Come for the talks, stay for the conversation!* **1️⃣Session 1, 18:30: Rethinking data with Claude: lessons from building on real data** **Speaker:** Manel Vericat, Data and AI training specialist at zenital Ask your data a question in plain words and a model will answer, quickly and with complete confidence. Whether the answer is right is another matter, and often nobody can tell. This session is about that gap. We start with mathematics, where this year’s results with AI range from checkable on a napkin to checkable by nobody yet. Then we bring the same question down to business data, through two things zenital built with Claude: SelfBI, which puts a semantic layer between the model and tables you already trust, and an observatory of public procurement that reads figures buried in PDFs and checks each one against the document’s own published statistics before anything goes out. We show the process, not only the result, including what did not work and what we changed because of it. The idea to take home is easy to say and hard to do: before you trust an AI answer, design how it gets checked. **2️⃣Session 2, 19:30: Ask Once, Answer Right: What Fabric IQ Changes for Business AI** **Speaker:** Enrico Elio Douglas, Senior Data Engineer at isolutions Ask the same question twice and get two different answers?
