Limited opportunities for those moving here to meet new people and socialise in a genuine, healthy way. 2. Lack of casual sports clubs for young professionals. We started with our New Sport Every Week session, voted for by people in our community. Since then, we have played over 21 different sports. Our weekly casual sessions allow us to create communities around certain sports. **Please note this session is popular and has a set number of places. CRAP Talks #35 - Back to School

We're back with our fifth event of the year and we couldn't be more excited. We'll stick to our usual format of 2 speakers and a fireside chat. If you've not been to one of our events before then here is what you can expect. CRAP (Conversion Rate Optimisation, Analytics, Product) Talks is a cross-discipline event. We don't work in silos so why network and learn in silos. In the past we've had speakers from Data, Analytics, CRO, Product, Marketing, Data Science, Design and Research and so many more. Philosophy Cafe: Satire and Philosophy

Join Philosophy Cafe London at the Square Pig in Holborn for a discussion of satire as philosophical critique Satire does not merely make us laugh. From Voltaire’s *Candide* and Swift’s *Gulliver’s Travels* to the present day, satire has been one of philosophy’s sharpest ways of exposing false ideals. This evening we will look at satire as a form of philosophical critique. Instead of arguing directly, satire creates strange worlds, absurd characters and comic distortions that make our own assumptions appear newly questionable. What happens when philosophy is put on stage and made to wear a mask? Does satire merely mock ideas, or can it reveal truths that straightforward argument misses? You do not need to have studied philosophy or arrive with specialist knowledge. Curiosity and a willingness to join the dialogue are enough. The conversation does not have to stop when the formal part ends. People often stay afterwards for a drink and a chat, and that informal part helps Philosophy Cafe become a friendly community rather than just a series of events. **Where:** Downstairs room, Square Pig, Holborn (private room) **NB**: The event begins at 7pm, doors open at 6:50pm. Event ends at 9pm **Format:** Participants propose questions → vote on questions → small-group discussions → share insights with the whole room **Discounts:** If cost is a barrier, we want to make the session as accessible as possible.
