Let's take a spin on MLK shoreline, along the beach on Alameda island, and back on the free ferry to Oakland. We’ll end in Jack London Square for food and drink. This flat ~20 mile route will be mostly on pleasant off-street paths with views of the Bay. We’ll gather outside Lake Merritt BART station between 9:30 and 9:45am, do introductions, and head out by 10:04am. Please make sure your bike is tuned up and ready for adventure. Dress for the weather and bring water, snacks, and money for our post-ride social gathering. No-shows are no bueno in our group; please keep your RSVP updated so folks on the waitlist can join. See you then!

Friday June 5 bike Ride This is a 37 mile ride starting at the Richmond ferry parking lot at 9:30am. Heading through Point Richmond and crossing the Richmond Bridge. Then making our way to on Mill Valley. We will do a detour through A shaded Redwood forest and stop at Elan’s home on Lovell Avenue for refreshments. Continuing to Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge. Then to the downtown S.F. ferry terminal and taking a ferry back to Richmond. we shall aim for the 3:00pm ferry back the Richmond. Next ferry is at 4:00pm Note: this ride is cross listed with the Slow Spokes riding group. Please be at the Richmond ferry terminal no later than 930. We will start riding promptly at 9:30.
