Monthly Weekend Afternoon Boardgaming at Cobblestones (July 2026)

\*\* In order to support Cobblestones for letting us use their space, there is a $15 minimum food/drink order per person.\*\* The monthly weekend meetup at Cobblestones is back! This is where we tend to stay longer & play more games than our weekly get-together. The next one will be on Saturday July 25, 2026. Join us for our awesome Weekend Boardgaming Meetup at Cobblestone's pub! We start around noon & usually stay until the early evening. We're a friendly group of gamers that play everything from Codenames & Ticket to Ride to Blood Rage & Agricola! Everyone is welcome - all ages (must be over 21) but must be young at heart! If you don't recognize the games, don't worry, everyone is happy to teach new players the rules. And feel free to bring your own board games if you wish. Between all of us, there's usually a large selection of games to choose from. If you're looking for a chill, fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon - come join us! In order to support our awesome, not-too-loud venue, each person must purchase something to eat or a few drinks. **Again, there is a $15 minimum per person.** *** We always welcome new people & we're all here to have fun, but we do have a few ground rules that we ask everyone to be aware of: * Treat everyone in the group with respect & do not discriminate. Some of us "trash talk" when we play, but it's all in good fun & in the spirit of gaming. * This is a restaurant/bar so accidents are bound to happen. However, if you're responsible for ruining someone else's game by spilling a beverage or food on it, the right thing to do is to offer to purchase a new copy for them. Some of the games we bring are out of print so please treat every board game with respect. * If a game is accidentally ruined by a staff member, everyone at the table should pitch in to buy a new one for the owner. More often than not, this comes to about $10/person or less, so in our opinion it isn't too much to ask for. We look forward to seeing you there!

Then, we will dive into **Part 1 of David Deida’s The Way of the Superior Man**. You do not need to have finished it or agree with everything in the book. Come with a passage that stuck with you, an idea you disagreed with, a question you have been wrestling with, or simply some curiosity. We’ll use the book as a starting point to talk about bigger questions: What does it mean to live with purpose? How do you become more grounded and authentic in your relationships? What are you currently trying to figure out in your own life? The goal is not to sit around pretending we have all the answers (because we don't). It is to have the kind of honest conversation that is hard to find elsewhere. Whether you’re single, dating, in a relationship, married, starting over, or anywhere in between, and regardless of your age, you’re welcome. Sunday Night Board Games in Brooklyn

Join us on Sundays for board games at Squarrel Cafe (572 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York) right by the Barclay's Center off the Atlantic Avenue 2/3/4/5/B/D/N/Q/R stop. Large tables in a big space with a private overflow room available too. Bring a game or join in on one. A wide variety of games will be available - from lightweight and shorter games to heavy games with long play times. Hope to see you there! Killer Queen freeplay night at Barcade

Killer Queen is a cult classic team-based arcade strategy game. It's super easy to learn yet infinitely replayable, and it's also a great way to meet new people. The game will be on freeplay all night. All skill levels are welcome. There's always a handful of experienced players willing to teach the game to newbies. We'll informally make pickup teams throughout the night. Come play a super fun game with an incredible community. 21+ because it's a bar.

Thursday Board Games

Board gamers of all kinds are welcome to our Thursday night board gaming event. **If this will be your first time attending on a Thursday, we highly recommend that you join our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/f3uqDJjEec) to find a scheduled game to join.** The majority of Thursday evening games are pre-scheduled via Discord, but we do leave one or two tables open for unscheduled games—if you would like to play at one of those tables please arrive as close to the 6PM start time as possible to increase the chance that there will be space available. Looking for something more freeform? Try our Friday and Sunday events, which are almost entirely comprised of unscheduled, “pick-up” games for you to play! Entrance is $8, paid to Squarrel Cafe for unlimited gaming for the day. Food and drink are available. Attendees are strongly encouraged to support our host, Squarrel Cafe.
