The Monthly Reset: A Co-Working Session for Creative Women (Virtual)

The Monthly Reset: A Co-Working Session for Creative Women (Virtual)

Sat, Aug 1, 2:00 PM
From Creative Women Entrepreneurs in NYC
4.8

**RSVP on Luma here:** [https://luma.com/4qtemyzl](https://luma.com/4qtemyzl) A simple way to start your month with intention… and actually get something done. Join the **Creative Women Entrepreneurs** community for a monthly, 90-minute virtual co-working session designed to help you focus, reset, and move something forward. If you’ve been meaning to “get to it,” this is your time! **How it Works:** We’ll meet for 90 minutes on Zoom and begin with a quick check-in and intention setting. After that, we’ll mute and work independently in silence together. At the end, we’ll come back for a short share to celebrate progress. – *First 10 minutes:* verbal check-in + set your intention – *Next 70 minutes:* focused work (silent co-working) – *Final 10 minutes:* share what you worked on + celebrate progress This is a form of *“body doubling”*: working in the presence of others to stay focused and accountable. Studies have shown that simply working in the presence of others can improve focus and follow-through. **RSVP on Luma here:** [https://luma.com/4qtemyzl](https://luma.com/4qtemyzl) **What Should You Work On?** Anything you’ve been meaning to get to! – setting goals for the month – fleshing out content ideas – organizing your finances – tackling something you’ve been putting off! The time is yours to use however you need. **Who This is For:** Creative women who want a more intentional way to start the month. This is for you if you’re looking for structure, accountability, and a calm environment to focus. **About Creative Women Entrepreneurs** Creative Women Entrepreneurs is a NYC-based community for women building creative businesses. We host events designed for real connection, from walks and co-working sessions to workshops and gatherings that go beyond traditional networking. Check out [our calendar on Luma](https://luma.com/creativewomenentrepreneurs) to view our upcoming events. **RSVP on Luma here: https://luma.com/4qtemyzl**

Participants cannot sell their works during the event but can show the book covers during their readings. Content should be for a general audience and readings including language or descriptions inappropriate for children must begin with a warning. Recording of this event is strictly prohibited. Spec-driven Development

Spec-driven Development

Sun, Jul 26, 8:00 PM
From New York Code & Coffee
4.8

**Note: You must be RSVP'd (not on the waitlist) for [the main meetup event (NYC Code and Coffee 87 at Datadog HQ)](https://www.meetup.com/new-york-code-coffee/events/315575148/) to attend this session.** AI coding assistants excel at small tasks and isolated features. But when you're building something that spans multiple files and requires upfront planning, they fall apart. Spec-driven development fixes this. Write the spec first, let the AI build from it, then iterate. This talk breaks down how to do it in three phases, what tradeoffs you'll hit, and how to start using it in your next feature
