\*\*\* Event needs a minimum of three children to host the game \*\*\* \*\*\* We are looking for another parent to host the game moving forward! Is that you? \*\*\* \*\*\* Pls fill in our contact form so that we can contact you directly if there are any important changes to this event in the future: [https://form.typeform.com/to/IGVdeYWs](https://form.typeform.com/to/IGVdeYWs) \*\*\* Hey there! Come join us for a super fun afternoon playing "Cashflow for Kids," made by Robert Kiyosaki! It's a cool game where you learn about money, business, and investing, and you get to play with other kids and parents who are interested in the same thing. This game is for everyone who wants to learn how to be smart with money, especially when it comes to starting businesses and making investments. We want to help kids learn how to make their money work for them, even when they're young. Just imagine if you never had to worry about finding a job because you knew how to create extra and passive income wisely! During the game, you'll have a blast learning some really cool stuff about running businesses and making money work for you. Plus, you'll pick up some amazing tips to help you make money without working all the time. It's like a secret recipe for financial freedom! If you're under 12, make sure to bring an adult along to help you with the game. Here are some important details: * **Event:** Cashflow for Kids * **Cost:** Just £5 if you pay online, or £10 if you pay at the game. That's per scorecard; parents do not need a scorecard unless their child wants to play independently. * **Organisers:** Joanna, Jonathan, Andrew, and Tony \*\*\* There is a golden period each child has: between 16 and 25, where your child is still living at home. During this period, he or she has a wonderful opportunity to create a real income greater than their monthly expense needs! This allows him or her to achieve the power of income safety! Once your child sees this for themselves, please encourage them to **join us at Taking Action events! [https://www.meetup.com/takingaction/events/](https://www.meetup.com/takingaction/events/) \*\*\*** **FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions):** * **Q:** Can I play if I'm younger than 6? * **A:** This game is best for kids 6 and older. Grown-ups can join in too for an easy introduction to money matters. * **Q:** What skills do I need to play? * **A:** You just need to be able to add and subtract tens and hundreds, and be able to focus for about 30 minutes or more. * **Q:** Why are the ticket prices cheaper if I pay online? * **A:** We like to reward people who plan ahead and pay online. It helps us get everything ready for the game day! * **Q:** Can I buy a ticket when I get there? * **A:** Yep, you can, but it'll cost a bit more than if you pay online. Door tickets are £10 for this event. * **Q:** I don't have PayPal. Can I still pay online? * **A:** Absolutely! You can use a debit or credit card through PayPal's payment option. * **Q:** Can I share something cool with everyone? * **A:** Sure! If what you want to share will help everyone learn more or have more fun, we'd love to hear about it! Just a heads up: We like to take pictures and videos during the event to capture all the fun. If you don't want your face in the pictures, just let us know, and we'll make sure to blur it out! \*\*\* Pls fill in our contact form so that we can contact you directly if there are any important changes to this event in the future: [https://form.typeform.com/to/IGVdeYWs](https://form.typeform.com/to/IGVdeYWs) \*\*\*

🏺 Friend of Dorothy Pottery Workshop with Lucas Buttchewits

Fri, Jun 19, 5:30 PM
From Friend of Dorothy Events

### Make Pots. Meet Gay Men. Make Friends. * This **Friend of Dorothy event** is about bringing **gay men together in real life to connect, create and build genuine friendships**. Join ceramic artist **Lucas Buttchewits** for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to pottery designed for all levels. Whether you’ve never touched clay before or already enjoy creative work, this workshop offers a welcoming space to try something new while meeting people through a shared experience. During the session you’ll explore traditional **hand-building techniques** including pinching, coiling and slab building to create your own tableware or decorative pieces. You’ll also experiment with decorating your work using **leaves and flowers to imprint natural textures**, before adding colour and personality using painted slip. Lucas will guide you through every stage of the process from shaping and decorating your piece to understanding how it will be **glazed and kiln-fired** after the workshop. But like all **Friend of Dorothy events**, this isn’t just about the activity. It’s about creating spaces where **gay men can meet, talk and form real connections outside of apps and bars**. With a small group and a relaxed creative atmosphere, it’s easy to chat, laugh and get to know the people around you. All materials, tools and firings are included, and your favourite piece will be **ready for collection a few weeks later**. Come get creative. Meet new people. Leave with something beautifully handmade and a little more connected.
