Welcome to **I WRITE**, a gentle space for anyone who wants to write—quietly, freely, and without judgement. We are a Berlin community of writers who gather together weekly to write, talk and recharge after a long week. Some of us journal, some write novels, some do academic writing, many people come without a project in mind and see where the inspiration flow takes them. This is a space to simply show up and write, a safe place to be yourself and to release all your layers onto the paper. There’s no set topic, no feedback circle, and no pressure. Für Mitglieder von Text Collective Berlin ist die Teilnahme an dieser Veranstaltung kostenlos. Nicht-Mitglieder werden um eine Spende von zehn Euro gebeten. Kreative Schreibübung mit anschließender Diskussion zum Erfahrungsaustausch, Inspiration und Motivation zu sammeln. Ein Raum für alle, die kreativ schreiben möchten – egal ob du gerade erst anfängst oder schon länger schreibst. **Jeden zweiten Samstag des Monats von 14:30 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr in Charlottenburg (Haus am Mierendorffplatz).** **Was dich erwartet:** In unseren Treffen arbeiten wir mit abwechslungsreichen Schreibimpulsen, die neue Perspektiven eröffnen und spielerisches Experimentieren ermöglichen. Du schreibst direkt vor Ort, teilst deine Texte mit der Gruppe (freiwillig!) und erhältst konstruktives Feedback. Die Atmosphäre ist offen und unterstützend. Hier darf ein Text noch unfertig sein, eine Idee noch roh, ein Gedanke noch unausgereift. In dieser Atmosphäre gegenseitiger Wertschätzung entsteht der Mut, sich auszuprobieren und die eigene Stimme zu entdecken. Wir lesen einander vor, geben Rückmeldung, ermutigen uns gegenseitig und praktizieren das Zuhören. **Über Text Collective Berlin:** Wir sind eine kreative Schreibcommunity, die regelmäßige Workshops und Lesungen organisiert. 2025 erschien unsere erste Anthologie "Begegnung zwischen Welten" mit Texten aus der Schreibwerkstatt.

Over this time, I’ve been privileged to meet some of the most creative and kind minds in Berlin. We have grown very very much, this community has now expanded to more organisers and more writers. Join us for a cozy and creative **Open Mic for Writers**, where anyone can share their writing out loud — be it poetry, prose, personal essays, or even scientific musings. It’s a space to connect, listen, exchange feedback, and get to know fellow writers in the city. **Format:** Each performer will have up to **12 minutes total (6+6)**: * **6 mins** for reading/presenting * **6 mins** for open discussion or feedback Feel free to use the time however you like (e.g., 2+10, 9+3, 12+0), as long as it fits within the 12-minute limit. I will be very strict with timing. **Languages:** You’re welcome to perform in either English or German. ☕ Since it’s a cafe, there will be refreshments. The newest format of Re(a)d Wedding events is back for its second installment! --- Please join us for **MONOLOG**: a workshop on cathartic storytelling. We'll gather in the late morning on Saturday, September 12th, K26: a new space run by the legendary team behind Lettrétage, one of the best venues for literature events in Berlin. MONOLOG is a great fit for up-and-coming performers, spoken-word poets & those of you wanting to explore your expressive voice. Through a series of activities, we will explore different methods of finding our story, engaging with the stage, and ways of shifting meaning through voice and embodiment of our words. The goal is for you to find your voice and grow more confident in performing on stage.
