The Toronto Artist's Way Meetup Monthly Meetup

Mon, Sep 21, 11:00 PM
From The Toronto Artist's Way Meetup
4.5

The purpose of the group, based on the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, is for people to meet and talk about their artistic challenges in any field (painting, writing, music etc.) and encourage each other to break their creative blocks and fulfill themselves in their art. If you find people who are sympathetic, you may want to form your own group, meeting regularly to explore the book and supporting each other in their artistic journeys. I have gone through 2 such clusters and can say that it is a very powerful experience. Why not come to a meeting and see for yourself?

How to Say No

How to Say No

Sat, Sep 19, 2:00 PM
From Innerkind

Saying no well is one of the most underrated skills in a full life. This workshop explores why no feels so hard, what it protects when used well, and how to set boundaries that come from clarity rather than guilt or resentment. **What you'll leave with:** \- A clearer understanding of why no feels so threatening \- Language and practice for boundaries that don't require over\-explaining \- Relief from the guilt that usually follows a no \- A felt sense of your own limits\, and why they matter **Led by: Lindsay Prajza** Lindsay is a psychotherapist that supports clients in navigating doubt, fear, and the pressures of modern life with clarity and compassion. Blending relational psychotherapy, evidence-based strategies, and a neuroscience-informed lens, she helps people build confidence, resilience, and deep self-trust so they can feel more connected to who they’re becoming.
