Capas — Autorretrato y Collage

Students will explore how individual scenes can link through character, theme, or game—and how to spot and support those connections in the moment. This course is about discovery: finding patterns, building simple structures, and learning to trust the ensemble. It’s a space to play, experiment, and begin seeing the big picture. **Topics:** * Trusting ourselves, trusting others * Ensemble awareness and group support * Building shows from a single suggestion * Openings and idea generation * Recognizing and playing patterns * Edits and transitions (sweeps, tag-outs, walk-ons etc.) * Connecting scenes through theme, character, or premise * 3 longform structures (Living Room, Armando, Harold) **Pre-requisite:** * Introduction to Improv (101) (or proof of equivalent) * Ages 16+ This course is ideally aimed at: those with some basic improv training and wishing to expand further; those who wish to specialise in long-form improv; performers with short-form background/experience wishing to become more relaxed and familiar with long-form improv. Macrame Workshop – All Levels Welcome
Sat, Oct 10, 9:00 AMHii everyone! My name is Annwen, and I've been passionate about macrame for over two years. What started as simple curiosity quickly turned into a true passion... A hobby that, against all odds, managed to teach patience to a very hyperactive person aha. When I moved to Barcelona, one thing felt obvious : I wanted to keep sharing this passion and create a space where people could **slow down**, **get creative**, and **connect with others**. (Curious to know more? Have a look at my Instagram @kalag_macrame) * ***What to expect*** Whether you've never tried macrame before or already have some experience, these workshops are designed for anyone who wants to enjoy a creative moment with the bonus of going home with something you will be proud of. * ***Create*** You will have the choice of creating either a **bracelet** or a **stone** **keychain** and making it truly your own with a wide selection of beads, colors, stones and accessories. I will guide you step by step through every knot, sharing not only the techniques but also all the little tricks I've learned after hundreds of hours of experimenting, making mistakes, and refining each creation. * ***Our host*** This workshop wouldn't be the same without the wonderful team at **Origin. Cafe**, who are kindly opening their space to welcome us. Their delicious drinks and food (**including vegan and vegetarian options**) make it the perfect place to relax while we create together. To thank them for hosting us, I kindly ask everyone to order at least one drink or item from the café during the workshop. * 📍 **Location :** Origin. Café (Carrer de Manso, 17, Eixample, 08015 Barcelona) 🗓 **Date :** Saturday, October 10th (*more dates coming soon*...) 🕒 **Time :** 11 AM – 1 PM 💰 **Price :** 40€ · All materials included 🎟 **Book early – Limited spots (6 persons max)** * ***A little note*** There's no rush here. Macrame is all about enjoying the creative process. I've designed each workshop so participants have enough time to complete their project during the session. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and that's part of the experience. If your piece needs a few final touches afterwards, you will leave with all the techniques and guidance you need to finish it confidently at home.
