Pop-Up Manga Cafe (Trial 3.0)

Could this be the start of London's first ever Manga Cafe?! 😵 We're trying something new and exciting by combining our main club activities in our very own space. Add some food and drink, some nice vibes and activities, and we basically have our own café! So if you fancy reading some manga, playing some board games, talking about anime and games and meeting new people over a cup of coffee or matcha, this is the place for you! \*\*\*\*\*Entry cost is £5 at the door!\*\*\*\*\* Feel free to cosplay! Play Werewolf - Southwark

Hello! Come and join us at our weekly Wherewolf event. We play multiple games across the evening, so you'll get more than one opportunity to play. Wherewolf is a game of secret roles, with most playing for the Village or the Wolves. Both teams are trying to eliminate the other, figuring out information about other players to guide themselves to victory. And with sneaky extra characters with their own individual goals thrown into the mix too, games often lead to exciting and dramatic endings. If this is your first time playing, you are absolutely welcome! Whether you've played similar games before, or you're totally brand new to social deduction games, we'd love to have you. Come along, we'll happily guide you through the rules of the game, it's easy to pick up. Everybody comes to have fun, so people will help you out. We look forward to seeing you!

The **IN-PERSON** Fandorica returns on **Thursday 20th August 2026 from 6pm onwards till late!** That's **Thursday 20th August 2026.** So please do join us for what will hopefully be a day long remembered! We plan on being there till late. So if you can't pop along at the start, then join us when it's convenient for you! It'll all be very relaxed with a welcoming atmosphere. The idea is simply to bring people who have a shared love of all things geek together for a good time! It's all about meeting people and making new friends! Trust me, you won't need an encyclopedic knowledge! Ultimately, it's going to be you all that will make it what it is. Feel free to chat about anything you like! Be as silly or serious as you want! August's second Science Fiction meetup.

Would you enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow Science Fiction and Fantasy fans? If so, we’d love to meet you. Our next gathering takes place on **Saturday 22nd August from 6pm** at **The Mad Hatter**, just by Blackfriars Bridge. Drop in, say hello, and join us for a drink. We’re a long‑running group that’s been meeting since **1998**—long before meetup sites existed. Over the years we’ve hosted celebrity meet‑and‑greets, attended conventions together, run role‑playing games, organised cinema trips, LARPs, and plenty more. These pub meetups are all about socialising and connecting with other Sci‑Fi and Fantasy enthusiasts. To help break the ice, we’ll be running a fun **team quiz at 8.30pm**. There’s no fee to attend—just pay for whatever food or drink you order at the venue.

If you love anime & manga then please join us for our weekly meetups, where we basically just sit, chat and read anime & manga! We usually sit in the back of the pub. If the weather is nice we may sit outside at the back of the pub, or even outside on the downstairs floor. In this meetup, you can BYOM (bring your own manga) or read one from the selection we will bring. See this as an opportunity to discover, recommend or simply enjoy Japanese comics & anime with like-minded people! Note: This is not a book club. Also, the TCR bar is kind enough to allow us to use their space to host this meetup, and has asked if possible for attendees to support the venue by purchasing a drink or food while you're there. Please don't bring your own food or drink to consume at the venue, as the venue does not allow this!
